I thought the SmartMark Championship is week 16, as the 2 top teams will play in a BCS style bowl game. You have to limit your loses and run the score up and work the system to your advantage.

well the Chargers have Marty Ball who would run the ball 40 times if they could or you can go with the Pats who have no running game at all, but you leave yourself open to Brady INTs.

I got an excellent performance out of Garcia this week which means that next week when I need the excellent performance he'll get me 10 pts or something insanely low.

Bama isn't starting a WR or a WR/RB (knock on wood), and one of his WR/RB, Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala is out this week.

Gannon will get more than one TD this week

 

it looks likes my bench will get me another victory, but Ward Hines and Torry Holt scare me as the only threat this week.

The top 8 teams get to the playoffs. 5-8 are in the consolation bracket, 1-4 are in the championship bracket.

Straight from the horse's mouth in League Settings:

 

Playoffs: Week 15 and 16 (4 teams)

 

Now, unless they're not counting the consolation bracket in this (which I thought was just a public league thing), this would be four teams...like I said earlier.

 

EDIT: Of course, the way the schedule says the playoffs will go...it would be an 8 bracket team. Me confused.

Well, the Oakland/San Fran game is proving to be interesting: Garcia has a TD but isn't doing much, and Brown isn't doing much for Oakland.

 

Gardner has a TD in the Redskins game, but I need at least 1 more TD, maybe 2 or 3 more to make me feel good about this. Im regretting not starting Kevin Faulk cause he had a big day..

I'm going to assume I lost based on just looking at stats for the St Louis-Arizona game and seeing the Falcons play. He had Bulger and Faulk who had huge days, and I had Vick who was definitely negative points.

A couple of league observations:

 

A Team loses again, but Satanico cuts it close, but will probably win because of MNF.

 

How the hell does Power and Glory do it? Another win, this time over a 4-4 team, by 1.7 pts..This game looked like the Dallas Detroit game lol..

 

If everything falls right into place...I will move up to 14th place at 3-6 behind Poortucket based on Points..

Nothing against the Crackers or anything...but I'm really pulling for Donald Driver to have a big night and give those hard-luck Patriots a win going into next week.

 

And, actually, for teams like the Rudos and myself, the next couple of weeks should be quite interesting, as a lot of the top teams are slated to start knocking each other off, leaving room for us crazy middle-of-the-road teams to trot into contention. (Hopefully.)

week 10 has the top 2 teams in the match up of the season, to bad its a bye week for the Minions. It looks like a low scoring match up which can only help the teams such as Rudos and MIB who are making the late season run.

I need a win this week, I've lost 2 of 3 now. Luckily, even though I'm playing #1 in the league, Satanico has Bledsoe, Keyshawn, Josh Reed, Andre Davis, and Antonio Bryant out this week. He has some decent depth though. I once again need my stars to produce and have to pray that Vick doesn't throw all kinds of INTs against the Steelers, because I know he is going to be throwing the ball this week.

Yeah the bye week is killing me this week. I have six guys on a bye this week, but at least i have both of my starting RBs back.

 

Portis and Ricky will have to lead me to VICTORY!. I'm not expecting much from Harrington against Green Bay, but I'm hoping for another Detroit upset win.
