SWF Ground Zero Comments

Well, two strikes against me in one night. Excellent job, Flesher, and I can't really find the words to describe how awesome the Mag 7 is.

Better comments later, sleep is now.

ummmmmm from what I read, Stubby didn't post the entire war games match. The ending is missing.

Ending or no ending, I applaud TNT, Frost, and Wilson for writing most of the damn 30000+ word match, while all I did was a measily part in the middle and a spot in the end. And Outcast's intro was a work of art.

I'll review a match or something later.

Goddamn Erek Taylor....I'd be pissed off, but I did no-sell being hit by a car, which is REALLY fucking cool. Still, 10,000 wasted words...these are the moments that make me wanna quit. I'll comment later.

Renegade joins XF9, Annie and Sacred both return. Very cool.

Flesher gets Match of the Night, in my humble opinion. I was totally buying the Superior One character at the end, and I even marked out for ELM, despite my obvious Clan bias. Awesome work, Flesher.

Nothing less than a sprawling epic from the Magnificent Seven, though a little bit spot-riffic for my personal taste. The ladder I could handle, but the flaming ring? I was waiting for Sabu to run in and get his jaw broken by the Sandman.

More comments when I wake up.

OH.... MY....GOD

that PPV was a thing of beauty.... really, congrats to everyone. Even JD, you drunken bastard, for defeating not only me but the obvious problem of taking on someone who is returning to good buzz. Not the greatest match, but better than mine, and I applaud you.

Erek retains and Strangler NO SELLS A FUCKING CAR! A FUCKING CAR! YOU ARE MY GOD!!!!

Wargames... my god..... I was completely wound up reading this, I'm sick and tired (the literal version, I really don't feel good) but I couldn't put this match down. Damn, that's a classic. I can't even do my top 3 markout moments as there were around twelve in there.

Flesher, former stable-mate and all around funny guy, congrats on being the newest double champ! Breggin gets a shot at Erek, and damn... just damn...

Finally, I want a rematch against JD, you drunken bastard! I'm 2 losses away from a career .500 and dammit, I'm beating your ass to keep me away from that :D

match of the night: Wargames. Plain and simple. Goddamn.

EDIT: one match away..... damn

A fine, fine show. Everything has been skimmed, and Flesher is my new god.

Have checked out Wargames, and wow. You guys are insane. 36,000 words and a flaming ring takes out Team Carnival. The match isn't my preferred style, but it's well put-together for the approach. I for one would never have thought to bring in a ladder or anything big like that.

I will say, though, that the sting of having a storyline you've spent over two months planning and busting your ass to build get only 200 words of exposure on its first big moment, well...really stings.

Oh well. The winners write the history books.

First off, that PPV rocked the house. It got posted early enough that most everyone was around, it totally destroyed our poker game and if we want to get fans in, this is it.

Tom Flesher, as the ppv loaded, i read most of your match. Excellent work, dude. It takes a lot to beat ELM, and I loved your match. It would be match of the night. But not tonight.

WarGames was one of the best experiences I've ever had writing, and I'd love to thank my team. If you didn't know, my internet was out most of today and last night. I was on at my friend's house playing general (and poker) but I couldn't write. I got back in time today to help finish up.

TNT and Frost are fucking troopers. They did so much today. Deathwish got roughed up with work, but his logic and just sense of wrestling kept us on the right track, and what he wrote was very good.

OC didn't write a whole lot of wrestling, but what he did was great. That intro, ala Divefire, makes you tingly and he edited THE WHOLE THING with all of us bugging him. It probably wouldn't of won without that.

I hope you all enjoyed that, and I'm going to go read the rest of the show. Oh, welcome back Sacred. Good to see you, bud.

DISOOOOOORDER DISOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORDER..

God damn.

God damn.

God DAMN!

Wargames. Best. Match. EVAR.

I think in storyline SWF would have to be suspended for like a week for everyone to recover! (Though outside storyline I'm hoping to wake up to the next Storm card, since I'm still on vacation and in prime position to write.)

In other news...

Gahh. I lost. I'm still winless in PPV matches.

And in what should have been a big night for XF9, Erek is the only member to pull out a win... but it's the right win, keeping the ICTV gold within the group. Way to go Erek.

We do pick up two new members though... welcome Annie and Renegade!

Good stuff also from Flesher and Fallout.

I think that's all of them. Great show folks.

Yes, as Stubby mentioned Silent, the ending was cut off, there for you did not get to read Sabu's cameo where he broke his jaw. He fixed it, so Sabu should be in there now for your reading pleasure. :P

Silent, don't be disrespecting the flaming ring!

I'd like to apologize for maybe not putting Silent over enough, but in reality Edwin just showed more emotion from Thoth and himself. Silent really basically did the same thing. Plus, the debut of a JLer, even one as good as Silent, shouldn't even come close to overshadowing WarGames.

Erek Taylor, you are insane. That is all.

Oh, and how about the CCBB tag match?! WOOOO! YEE-HAH!

If I can find a free hour or two, I might read that Wargames match. I skimmed it for now. What I saw looked good. Kudos.

And since no one else has said it yet, the bra and panties match kicked ass!

Third comment here. I'm not sleeping for a while. I'm still kinda on a happiness high.

Fallout, good match as usual, but you better promo once, mofo, and beat up old Erek Taylor for his title!

Tom Flesher, yet again, you're awesome.

Merc joined the Seven incase you didn't notice in the chaos of OUR WINNING WARGAMES MATCH. And he will be writing, or else i'm kicking his ass. :D

Sacred's back, CC is going to be tough. XF9, however, will be tougher with SIX people.

JD, obviously rushed finish but solid hardcore match. A great champ to be sure.

Erek Taylor, you are insane.

Ah, it's shows like this that make me want to return to active competition again. Shame that won't be happening though.

I've only really skimmed the show so far, and from what i've seen it looks fantastic, great from top to bottom.

I'll be back with more in depth comments once i've read the whole thing proper.

Ok dudes... I have some comments for now... then bed, rest comes in the morning.

Wargames. Wow.

I have to give it to you guys here. Action all the way through. The recapping of the last PPV match was a bit of a waste in my opinion. But other then that. you guys did one hell of a job.

Mark out moments.

TNT taking that 20 feet fall! You suck! BONG!!

Raynor tapping out in an extremely creative manner. Smash is awesome, but damn dude, that was priceless.

MAG!!! That hurricanrana was insane! INSANE!!!

That tornado DDT... with me doing that in my match, had me screaming holy shit in a different manner. ;) And the return of the evil flag was great.

There were things I was kind of disappointed about too, but that was great you guys. Good stuff. Carnival, I will gladly read your match tomorrow.

My match was a very rushed ending, I'm almost tempted to rewrite that ending to have more emotion, but who knows. Sorry Annie. :( And Thugg... your ass is mine!

Now other then that. Fallout with the opening steal, nice match from what I saw. Congrads to Flesher for defeating the inconquerable ELM. Taylor you crazy SOB. And Renegade joining the 9'ers. All good from what I saw. I'll read it more tomorrow.

Sacred, that's my boy! (Y)

More comments tomorrow people!

as by you can tell all of the matches were top notch killer matches, especially Tom's match, and War games which I think that everyone was participating should have been taking the day off for the next show.

35000 words?! divided by 7 men= 5000 words each.

Quick comments now expansion later.

Fallout takes the win, very good stuff there.

Flesher you once again exceeding everyone's expectations with a kick ass match.

Taylor writes a great match, and so does JD. Welcome back Sacred.

WarGames. Damn. Great shit here, nice to see Silent in the WF, though putting the ring on fire was a little out there, but hey.

OK....now that I'm less pissed off over losing, time for comments from da Superstation.

- Fallout wrote an incredibly solid match that did a good job playing off the different relations between the stables. The finish surprised me, but worked well, as it really didn't make Breggan look bad, while making Fallout look good.

- JD wrote himself a nice match. And I marked out like crazy when Thugg made his cameo, and when Annie returned. I didn't see that one coming somehow, so I was pumped to see it. And I liked JD's match, although it was on the short side for a PPV. Good match, JD.

- Flesher wrote himself a heck of a match. I read it for him earlier, and I liked his ending...Grand Slam's commentary was spectacular, in my mind. Flesher really knows his submission stuff, and it showed in this match. Nice use of psychology and overall, a heck of a match.

- Chilly Chilly Bang Bang is actually an impressive tag team...I'm pumped to be teaming with Frost on Storm. Overall, I thought that these guys wrote a heck of a match, considering that they had to write the WarGames match as well. Plus I marked out for Renegade joining XF9 as well. These stables are getting out of hand....M7, MC, Clan, XF9, and CC are all damn good stables.

- I'm still bummed I lost to Taylor. I preferred my match, as I'm not a huge fan of gigantic spots, like teh jumping of the SmarkTron thing. However, even though the style isn't my favorite, Taylor did a spectacular job with the writing, and I thought the transistions between spots, which can be a problem in matches like this, were very well done. Plus, I no-sold getting hit by a fucking CAR. Let's see Thugg do that.

- Muzz, spectacular promo. With you back, CC is a legit stable, they have power, and a heck of a roster. Personally, I have no clue which stable is gonna end up ruling the heap. Any of the five that are around have a legit shot at it.

- WarGames....not much I can say about it that wasn't said. Once again, the flaming ring is a bit extreme for my tastes, but the match was written incredibly well. Outcast, that intro was one of the greatest pieces of work I've ever seen from you. Looks like all those promos in the RP world paid off. ;) Wilson, you must have put a TON of work into this. I loved how Wilson's character was written, and overall, the match ruled all. This one will go down as one of the greatest matches in SWF history. Like Edwin said, I was slightly disappointed that Silent's surprise arrival didn't get more than 200 words, but his impact still registered nonetheless. The next month of this is gonna be REAL interesting.

Time to promo.

This isn't much of a comment, but I just find the fact that the WarGames match is longer than Tuesdays with Morrie quite funny. Don't believe me? Tuesdays with Morrie: 35k. WarGames: 36k. That is all.

I've just really skimmed the show thus far, but Wargames looks absolutely incredible. How some team of people could write that is just awesome.

Fallout, excellent match. The psychology was there and damn, you are just as good as always.

My Stablemate, and new Stablemate, its time to get ready to rock the SWF now that the post PPV time is here.

Flesher, you wrote a really great match, and it had to be. As Strangler said, great commentary from Stevens. Got him spot on.

Taylor, another piece of art from you. I haven't read your match yet Strangler, but Taylor is on a roll. He is a beast and shouldn't be messed with! Ohh great, i am against him for Storm! DOH!

BAH GOD I FINALLY READ IT ALL...

and I do mean read...I can't comment indepth because well it take me like five hours.

Fallout is niiiiiiiiiiiiice...the match was so good. Man you are such a good writer its insane. The way you put Lerrin over I thought it was his match at first.

Flesher I bow down to you and shill your Superiorbility. Your match was second only to WarGames because of the 36K words. I marked for you before but I swear you are an idol now. You actually upset ELM...but shit you are superior so I guess I can't call it that.

Annie returns and joins XF9. BAH GOD they're becoming a strong stable. But Jay Dawg wins...I still don't understand why everybody calls him a jobber...must have been before my time.

Chilly Chilly Bang Bang write a hell of a tag match. I just really like the idea of Frost and TNT taging together. They are money. And I just knew Gade was joining XF9. I swore he was the hardcore participant...

Erek you wrote a hell of a match. I can see why Strangler is upset after putting in the effort he did but damn off the SMARKTRON. And TBS no sells a CAR. It was to coin a phrase...craaaaaaaaazy

M7...the ELM hurricanrana off the cage gold and both Chilly Chilly Bang Bangers taking Foley esque bumps was gold. And Silent debuts representing the JL like everybody and there momma didn't see his bump coming. The match over all was magic and I have yet to read Carnivals match but everyone busted there ass for this PPV.

Good Lord...

I have read most of the show, and I have to say, the match that impressed me the most (not counting WarGames, that's a novel, not a match. :) ) was Taylor's. Great Streetfight match. It kept me interested and reading the whole time. Great job kid.

And about WarGames... So far it is a good, solid match. But Good grief! I've read text books shorter!! :)
