If by that you mean "less racist, and with less of an impules to impose it's will on other burgeoning nations like assholes" then yes,yes we are.

We are a more diverse group of people, and while I do not support the racists, they are part of the bad that comes with the good, and we only want whats proven to be best for people around the world (democracy)

"Hey, we do more good than harm...for the most part."

America's list of terrorism

Ever since the United States Army massacred 300 Lakotas in 1890,

American

forces have intervened elsewhere around the globe 100 times. Indeed the

United States has sent troops abroad or militarily struck other

countries'

territory 216 times since independence from Britain. Since 1945 the

United

States has intervened in more than 20 countries throughout the world.

Since World War II, the United States actually dropped bombs on 23

countries. These include: China 1945-46, Korea 1950-53, China 1950-53,

you're right, America does go out of line with it's policing, but they do go to protect the little guys in each country, if people are suffering the United States tries to right the problem, and while it may not be 100% right all the time, it does its best to make the world a better place. For every oppresive leader we kill we feed double the amount of starving people, we as a country do not always do what's right but we always act with the best intentions, and while I never have condoned the assassinations of the CIA, they have been frowned down upon by the government.

I'm not gonna stand here and say you are wrong, because you aren't, but the United States does not hold the attitude that they are going to kill every leader that is different from them

One man on your COPIED list.

"1980's - Dr. Gerald Bull, Canadian Ballistics Scientist assassinated by Mossad in Belgium."

Who was making a massive gun for the Iraqis that could shoot at Jerusalem from Baghdad. Did you not realize that or did you omit it because it didn't help your America-Sucks views?

AMERICA DOES NOT CONTROL MOSSAD! GET THAT THRU YOUR HEAD! We are not to blame for what Mossad does. You have failed to present legit proof that the CIA has done ANY of that stuff that you allege.

let's go to another thing that you says proves that America is terrorist and imperialist.

"Saudi Arabia - 1990-91 - American troops sent to Saudi Arabia, which was a staging area in the war against Iraq.

Kuwait - 1991 - Troops sent into Kuwait to turn back Saddam Hussein."

Yeah.. you supporting Iraq there? you saying that Iraq should be allowed to shallow up other countries but if we fight them, we are being imperialist?

Good lord son, you are in quicksand.

Name one place where you gave credit to the people who wrote it.

"I'll shut the fuck up when America decides to stop being assholes to the rest of the world."

Yeah.. we're just being such assholes. Ask the women in Afghanistan, the South Koreans, or any of those other places. I suppose you don't have a list of Soviet-supported imperialism around, unless you like that sort of thing. :)

"Really?I thought Americans who didn't care about other countries did so because they were pompus assholes."

or simply because they don't have the time to care about those places. It doesn't help that places like Kuwait are ingrates.

"I insist that the instances of terrorism listed above are terrorism, fuckface."

Ooooooh... that's convincing. So, it's terrorism that the US saved the nation of Kuwait? are you gonna want to put Powell and Bush on trial for that?

"Get your facts straight before you fly off the deep end, you jingoistic jackass(ooh, alliteration)."

You are one to talk about getting your facts straight.

That's America

by Bruce McCulloch, a Canadian

Some people look at a flag, swaying in the breeze of the White House and say, "That's America." Whenever I see an American flag hung in a window of a basement apartment by guys who have better things to do with their money than buy curtains, I say, "That's America, to me."

In America, there are fifty-one states. Or maybe it's eighty by now. Does England count? I'm not quite sure. The one thing I am sure of is, if I'm standing in a warehouse beside a timeclock, and a guy is punching in his best friend who's too hungover to get out of bed, I'm standing in America. The makeover capital of the world. The place where every young man has to answer in his heart the question: What do you love more, your girlfriend, or your car? Where that young man can buy a beat-up car for three hundred dollars, but have to spend a thousand to insure it. The land where even a paperboy can option the film rights to a book.

America. In America, a woman on an assembly line works out her overtime in her head to infinity, and at the exact same moment, her husband gets into a car crash because he was looking at a girl in a tube top.

America. A land where spelling doesn't count, but people's pets do. Where else can you get a job riding a whale at marineland? The land where a guy's girlfriend breaks up with him over the phone, so he takes a gun, and kills the principal. Everyone's sad until they get the day off. Next week, another guy, another gal, another, "We can still be friends" phone call. Whuh-oh! The *assistant* principal gets killed. And everyone is sad because they *don't* get the day off. Because he was only the assistant principal.

America. A land of opportunity. Yes, that great lumbering beast that journeys tirelessly and stops only to eat a clubouse sandwich, pick its teeth with a matchbook cover, and fall asleep with the tv on.

America. A place for Americans.

I also move we should be named America,Jr. so it would be easier to get a goddamn green card when i need a job.America:home of the highest-paying jobs, and the lowest common denominator.

"Yeah.. you supporting Iraq there? you saying that Iraq should be allowed to shallow up other countries but if we fight them, we are being imperialist?"

Maybe if you had said something like "we're going there to protect our oil interests, because we need oil cheap." i could accept it,but Americans said they were going there to protect freedom, which is utter BULLSHIT.The same regime that had been oppressing the Saudis for ages was put back into place after America left,so there was no freedom.

Actually, you know who does hold HUGE responsibility in the 9/11 attacks? Canada. Quite a few of the highjackers came from Canada, if I recall, using the bizarre, "I just got off a plane, and I have no ID, but I can park my ass in Canada" system.

The UN is also led by a group of rabid anti-semites, as demonstrated time and time again with their dealings with Israel and Palestine. I don't trust their character.

I wonder if any events in the last year or so has had anything to do with that...

anyway, I've been to Canada, it does have a cleaner enviroment, and a friendlier atmosphere amongst people, but they don't have great diversity, it is good in a few regards, but America is the superior country
