Whoa Someone tried to Drive by Rikishi?

Maybe it was the Rock doing it for his "people". :)

I think he got shot for trying to "make a difference". But after all, he is a "bad man"... :)

I guess I didn't mark out enough for the crossface and Rock tapping out in the SD! thread

Let's take it past the finish line.

I think the WCW feature could've been better done, chronicling the graveyard-spiral that was the Russo regime. But any WCW footage is good WCW footage for me. Maybe if Raw is fully Nitrofied, Velocidential will be replaced with WCW Saturday Night and WCW Saturday Night Classics where they show an hour of new B-show material and an hour of classic matches from the archives.

And hey! Rhyno's back! I like that one guy's idea that his catchphrase should be "Rated R for Rhyno." I don't know why.

Im glad I taped Confidential....

I thought Al Snow was going to pass out with all the hockey jerseys on. I would like to see a whole show on WCW they just touched the surface with what they could talk about.

Well, remember this is the wwe and they never seem to go in depth with anything they show on confidental and always leave the viewer wanting more.

GORE! GORE! GORE!

I want MORE Al Snow hockey filler material.

We'll get plenty of World Championship Wrestling soon.

Velocity was pretty tight. Billy Kidman and Funaki rocked the house, and Billy and Chuck are gods amongst men (Moore and Helms are cool too, but Sugar Shane's mic work sucks dick). That was probably the 2nd best match of the week behind Benoit-RVD. Bischoff should steal Billy and Chuck.

Confidential was pretty entertaining as well. Not only did Paul Wight call Eric Bischoff an asshole, but we got to see Sexton Hardcastle and Rhyno chillin with Funaki and Taijiri. We also learned that Bret screwed not only Bret, but WCW, Eric Bischoff, Ted Turner, but he didn't screw Vince McMahon. Bret is the devil.

Overall, an entertaining and inoffensive 2 hours of wrestling based television. A thumbs up from the Hulkster.

Bischoff=ratings, that's all I have to say.

Just ask the girls from the Gold Club.

Hey! There's #250.

Well, at least Eric knows where to pimp. Vinny Mac does it on our TV's.

Eric may not be a people person, but the time he wasted on the TV in comparison to the time Vince has wasted is hardly anything. Bischoff didn't win WCW's #1 gimmick match, or the title, or screw over his #1 guy.

But come to think of it, Russo won War Games, the WCW title, and screwed over Hogan. McMahon won the Rumble, the WWF title, and screwed Bret.

Vince just wanted to be Vince.

EDIT: This thread should've been pinned during the show, not after, but no big deal. It's almost the size of Thursday's SmackDown thread.

Not that I'm a big Brett Hart fan but to claim he was at fault is absord. The contract pissed people off, but they never had Hart do anything, that is hardly his fault.

A certain Orange Goblin and Someone with beautiful hair are way more to blame than Brett Hart. The incidents that these two where involved with, that caused the fall of WCW's are two many to mention.

In the Rhyno segment why can't they say what his real name is. He's not in character during the interview. It makes it look more real saying his real name.

Do you think The Lizard Kings have a Jim Morrison impresenator has their mascot?

Edge's Mullett may of been the greatest mullet in the history of mulletkind.

Finally. Something I've always wondered, why does Christian never take off his shirt? He's alway worn that mesh shirt.

We learned one thing on Velocidental.

Tajiri likes Social Distortion.

Wow, we almost beat the Smackdown thread with Velocidential. This proves what we all know: WCW and cruisers draw.

That and Hungry Man.

Since they killed off the European title I think they should introduce a television title to Velocity. It will be a means to create storylines for the show instead of having a bunch of meaningless matches. It can be defended every week with television time limits and since I love tournament they can start be having one to crown the champ. Hey a title on a secondary show may not mean much but maybe it will spark some interest.

Why didn't they have C&B wrestle matches like that when they were the champs, instead of lame comedy matches?

Looked like Kidman hit his knee on the ropes on the way down during the SSP. Every time he goes up, I hold my breath. I get visions of that seriously fucked-up one he had in a match w/ Regal in WCW (landed on the ropes).

And Booker's house segment owns all.

Hey everyone- now that those shows are over-Heat is on next with the dream matches of all dream matches

Velocity has a title, the cruiserweight title :)

Also, they are trying to make some storylines now (B&C vs. 1-2-Kickout! this and last week), but it's difficult for a one-hour show to fit in character/plot development when they already have to squeeze in four or five matches and a week's worth of recaps. I think they do it well, although I also wouldn't mind them shaving a few minutes off of Albert matches every week for storyline's sake... <_<

Ah, and therein lies the problem. Ditch the recaps. I mean, honestly, is there anyone who watches Velocity that doesn't watch Smackdown? There's zero need for recaps, especially since the announcers spend most of the match randomly shilling the main Smackdown angles. God forbid they actually call the match. I don't think anyone expects em to throw on a lot of angle developement into the show. But one or two fueds would might just make the viewer actually want to tune in next week. Which is a good thing, right?
