I watch Velocity but not Smackdown, but keep it on Afterburn, boys.

EDIT: And with this post the SmackDown's thread is fully surpassed by Velocidential. So apparently I'm not the only one.

I don't ever watch Velocity, Confidential or Smackdown. I just never seem to catch the Saturday shows. I was Friday and Saturday night and wrestling was the furthest thing away from my mind. I found out about Confidential somehow, but I forgot that I wanted to watch it this week because I was preoccupied with work. When the weekend rolled around, I was preoccupied with girls and completely forgot about the damn show. I really wanted to see the Booker T segment and I guess I will never getthat chance now. Oh well.

Also, they are trying to make some storylines now (B&C vs. 1-2-Kickout! this and last week), but it's difficult for a one-hour show to fit in character/plot development when they already have to squeeze in four or five matches and a week's worth of recaps.

Ah, and therein lies the problem. Ditch the recaps. I mean, honestly, is there anyone who watches Velocity that doesn't watch Smackdown? There's zero need for recaps, especially since the announcers spend most of the match randomly shilling the main Smackdown angles. God forbid they actually call the match. I don't think anyone expects em to throw on a lot of angle developement into the show. But one or two fueds would might just make the viewer actually want to tune in next week. Which is a good thing, right?

This is true, I agree with you fully on this, but I don't think this can be avoided. There were always recaps on Metal as well, and other than the renaming and new pyro, they haven't changed the show much. I believe in the feuds department that a program is being developed between 1-2-Kickout! and B&C, and I'm certainly all for that. Plus there's that weird thing with Bob Holly... I think two feuds for the show is more than enough. Sure, they should ditch the recaps, but since they won't any time soon, at least they're trying to work with what they've got.

Some people do not get UPN, but they do get TNN. That is the reason for the recaps. I haven't seen SmackDown! in it's entirety since 2000. Now I pretty much only watch Raw, Velocity and Confidential.

What The Hell?!?!?!?!?!

I go away camping most of the weekend and come home to find out that Not Bischoff, Not Russo, Not Hogan, Not Nash or Ted Turner is the reason that WcW Failed, but it's all being blamed on Bret Hart!

WTF is that all about? I didn't get to see the show so what was said? I read somewhere else that Hogan bashed Bret saying "I don't know why WcW even hired Bret?" Well, maybe if that Orange skin idiot agreed to work with Bret for once then something could have been done. Bret was one of the biggest names at the time and had the most Heat going into WcW because of the "Screw Job." Bret was hardly ever used in WcW so how can he be blamed?

Nice to see Vince & Co. kick Bret again while he's down. Confidential has become the "Bash Bret Hart show." And people wonder why Bret is bitter?
