Yep...I loved that match. Finally, Rico gets the win. Maybe there is hope for Funaki yet. Maybe, one day, someone will actually job to Funaki. That would be awesome.

I would love to see them give Funaki a serious push, either for the Cruiser belt or even the IC belt. Make him just one bad ass guy, do NOT refer to him as "the Japanese guy", and plug him in a feud with Benoit. I don't know about you, but I'd mark for that program, and I'm sure the fans could get behind it. Take away all of his "goofy" looks and whatnot, give him a manager perhaps, say Paul E. or bring my man Sony Ono back, heheheh!

That thing that Mysterio does in the ropes, what he used to use as simply a "fake out" in going to the outside of the ropes. Damn, I love it that he has that as an actual offensive move now. Has anyone ever done that as an offensive move before like this? If so, I've never seen it!

I still say, find someoen who can bump unreal for Awesome... Say.. RVD, because he can take a sick neck bump. Throw him and RVD together, have RVD fly around on Awesome for a while, have Awesome catch or Kill RVD on those moves, and then do his BIg Splash across the ring, or his over the top rope Suicide Dive. It won't happen, but it would be cool.

I agree with you 100%. If I was in charge of booking, I'd have the guy over in one match, ONE. That is all it would take, I can assure you of that.
