Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I only collected the old LJN figures as a kid. I stopped when the rights went to Hasbro. Hulk Hogan Randy Savage Bobby Heanan Davey Boy Smith Dynamite Kid Rick Martel Tito Santana (Strike Force Version) Ted Arcidi Jim Duggan Jesse Ventura Freddie Blassie Honky Tonk Man Don Muroco Cowboy Bob Orton Corporal Kirschner Captain Lou Albano Hillbilly Jim Roddy Piper Nikolai Volkoff Boris Zukov Iron Shiek Koko B Ware George 'The Animal' Steele Bret Hart Jim Neidhart Jimmy Hart Ax Smash Ricky Steamboat B. Brian Blair Jumping Jim Brunzell Jacques Rougeau Raymond Rougeau Johnny Valient Brutus Beefcake Greg Valentine Dino Bravo Andre the Giant Big John Studd Ted Dibiase Jake Roberts Bruno Sammartino Adrian Adonis Haku Tama Paul Roma Jim Powers Others and of course the ring, but not the steel cage. Sorry but being the wrestling figure expert that I am, (I'm so modest) I'm gonna have to cry bullshit on this one as the following figures from your list were never made: - Boris Zukov - Smash - Jacques Rougeau - Raymond Rougeau - Dino Bravo - Tama - Paul Roma - Jim Powers Now you could easily just be mistakening certain figures for those guys or it could just be wishful thinking on your part that LJN made those (I wish they had). I do know for a fact that if they had not ended the series, the next figures due up were the Bushwhackers, Bad News Brown, Brother Love, the Barbarian and Smash. Now tell me you wouldn't kill for just one of those. BNB especially. Well that's all for now. Peace.
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted March 27, 2002 I smell a little fibbing. It would be cool to re-inact old PPV's though. LOL. I did that with WM and tryed with SSeries's

Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 I agree with nWoScorpion except don't you need a federation before there can be an invasion. Thanks.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted March 28, 2002 The main event is going to be a tournament for the World Title.
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 28, 2002 I like it,I was going to do that with the tag teams and who ever won that would be the SWF Tag Team Champions. Thanks.

Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Report post Posted March 29, 2002 So wait..are we doing weekly shows to build to a monthly PPV like nWoScorpion suggested earlier? If so, what will we name the shows? I could come up with some ideas for weekly show/PPV names from old WWF TV and tapes. If you would like, I think that I could throw together a website with results and rankings. Also, can we call this league the WWF (World of Wrestling Figures) just so we can use the old WWF logos? One more thing...is there anywhere that I can fit into booking matches?
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Once again you are going to have to ask nWoScorpion before we can really begin getting into this. Thanks.
Guest toggle Report post Posted March 29, 2002 I still have my Hasbro WWF guys I bought in 1990 or so. Warrior with the gorrilla press slam, Hogan with some sort of bear hug action(insert Hogan can't wrestle joke), Hacksaw Jim Duggan (with 2x4, of course) and Ted Dibiase. These guys were better than the LJN ones, I think, because they had the spring loaded action features, first introduced in the Super Powers line. Hmmm...perhaps I know too much about action figures. Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Yeah it is pretty crazy that you know that about action figures.I know a lot about Hasbro WWF action figures but that's it,although I do have pretty big collection of WWF Jakks action figures. Thanks.
Guest MiloMahoney Report post Posted March 30, 2002 You guys go and kick ass with this legue!!! Good for you. Only thing i will say is i love my Shane Douglas ECW action Figure as well as my Molly holly, shane McMahon, and Arn Arnderson figures. Bizzare foursome aren't they. Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I just bought Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit Jakks figures yesterday. Whoo!
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I can't wait to get this thing started, except that I can't seem to contact nWoScorpion. I sent him a message five days ago but got no response. Hopefully, he'll read this here so we can get the booking underway. If we DO call this the WWF, then I can contribute some pics from the WWF WrestleFest game for certain matches just to add a bit of 'realism'. After all, we have Hasbros of all 14 guys in the game. Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I think this league will be very good once we get started,I can't believe an idea I was thinking about one day has grown a lot,WOW!!! Thanks.
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted June 30, 2002 I'm back, anybody else still wanting to do this?
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 30, 2002 I would still like to have the WWF Wrestling Figures Federation or as We call it the Smarks Wrestling Federation(SWF)that's if the Smarks Wildlife Fund(SWF)will allow us to use that name. Thanks.
Guest papacita Report post Posted June 30, 2002 I have a pretty big WWF action figure collection, and was seriously addicted to my figure fed a few years back. Me and my friends all had storylines, weekly shows and I used to get out my video camera and record the PPV's (they started getting pretty damn good before I outgrew all of it). Most of my figures were between Hasbro and Jakks BCA's, but I had a few of the WCW 95-97 figures and Tazz' ECW figure.
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 30, 2002 A few summer's of ago,I was additced to my wrestling figure federation that I had with my Hasbro WWF Wrestling Figures.,I had big entrance sets for my ppvs and I was actually at a point that I couldn't wait for Monday's not for the real WWF Raw but for my WWF Raw with my wrestling figures. Thanks.
Guest papacita Report post Posted June 30, 2002 Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, there. On Mondays and Fridays, my (non-wrestling fan) friends couldn't get me out of the house because I was so stuck on the my fed. It seems kinda nerdy when I think about it now, but it was fun as hell. Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 30, 2002 I had so much fun with my wrestling figure federation,I had all WWF Tag Teams Champions,WWF Intercontinetal Champion and WWF World Champion. Thanks.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted June 30, 2002 My friend and I did an angle with a GI Joe figure where someone threw a fireball at him. This was accomplished by sticking his head in a lighter.I'm not even sure now if that figure got his revenge in the angle. And kids: Don't play with fire! I have about 70 over the last few years. They are in a box that my little brother drags out a couple times a week.
