Guest Flyboy Posted August 18, 2002 Report Posted August 18, 2002 When he does get the proper push, it'll be much too late.
Guest AndrewTS Posted August 18, 2002 Report Posted August 18, 2002 Also, this looks to be at least 2 PPVs in a row when the Women's Title hasn't been defended. I know that not every title has to be defended at every PPV, but they seemed they've forgotten about the dual-show aspect of it (Molly seems to be practically a Raw exclusive), and haven't even attempted to do anything with it. Of course, she's still been able to defend it more than Rock. Why all the non-title TV defenses, since Rock was going to win anyway?
Guest TestKick Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 They can only do Molly-Trish, and Molly-Trish in mixed tags so many times. It's better having no title matches, then throwing T&A like Stacy and Terri in there. Brock is keeping the title until at least Survivor Series. Stop being so expecting of positive change, people... you are smarks after all.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 I'm telling you, they need to recruit an ugly Japanese woman wrestler, I can't stand the Molly/Regal/Nowinski/Big Show vs. Trish/Bubba matches anymore. And you know we'll get one on Raw.
Guest Brian Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 It looks like they're keeping Rock's matches non-title to keep Rock/Brock intact, but it still serves no point to let him keep winning other than that Vince is protecting Brock and Rock. The latter shouldn't matter as much.
Guest Olympic Slam Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Which is the lesser of two evils........ Brock winning the belt at Summerslam or Rock retaining against Brock and dropping the belt to HHH the next night on RAW? I doubt this will occur but I think there might be more to the HHH vs. Rock match tommorow night then usual. Perhaps HHH will beat Rock tommorow in the non-title match thus giving him justification in getting a title match the night after Summerslam.
Guest Brian Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Brock is the better move than anyone, other than maybe Austin (which I would still think is wrong because of the history behind Austin/Rock). And still, I think with the build and the fact that Brock shows improvement in the ring and is drawing decent heat, it's the best move.
Guest Kid Kablam Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 IS Brock drawing heat? I didn't really notice much on Smackdown.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Well we noticed the "cheers" on Smackdown, but the crowd has consistently looked disinterested. They dont even stand up for him, they stood up for Rikishi, thats it. And having him go up against a midcard gimmick fat man who dances face is NOT the kind of win you need to give a heel the heat to take on the biggest face in the last few years. Now rising up the ranks slowly but surely... THAT does it, but oh well, WWE didnt have time to do that, because there was nobody to push. Well, there was Jericho, RVD, Booker T, Benoit, and Guerrero... but well, they dont count. Vince didnt MAKE them.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 I remember someone who sounded suspiciously like Shane McMahon trying to start a "Lesnar Sucks" chant at SD!. I think about 6 people joined it.
