Dr Death Steve Williams vs. Jim Ross (Brawl 4 All)

To finally watch JR get knocked the fuck out by one of the guys he personally dicked around. Steve Williams would fuck him up in the worse way. Maybe JR would realize not to stab his friends in the back.

But seriously

Eddie/Chavo vs. Benoit/Angle right now would be boss. All 4 are tremendous competitors, and minus Chavo, these are the best on the entire roster right now.

Actually, Steve Williams in his prime Vs. Rick Flair would be absolutely great to watch. Poor guy doesn't get too much love, unfortunately.

WWE is giving me a second helping of mine...RVD vs. Benoit.

But these other ones are to go undone:

Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle

Ricky Steamboat vs. Eddy Guerrero

Ric Flair vs. Steve Austin (obviosly they wrestled...but I want Stunning Steve, or at least preinjury Austin vs. the Flair in his prime)

If you're going to use Gimmick matches, you might as well pick two people who used the gimmick well, but never together.

Kinda like the RVD/HBK Ladder match mentioned earlier, not only did HBK make it a famous match, but RVD got pretty darn good at 'em too.

Hell in A Cell, Nobody did it like Foley, and Michaels was the originator, again, putting those two in their primes in a HIAC, and... well, they probably cant top Mind Games.

You get the picture...

Four Corners Elimination Match: Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart vs. Dynamite Kid vs. Chris Benoit would be sweet but it changes all the time.

Since dream matches will NEVER happen, I always wanted to see Dynamite Kid just tear it up with the guy who he influenced the most, Chris Benoit. The psychology and storytelling would be off the charts, not to mention that these guys if need be can go just as fast as Lucha...

I'm not sure if this happened, but I would love to see an Austin/Michaels vs. Bret/Owen in a Tag Match.

Hate to comit a blasphemy and all, but a Benoit/Dynamite match doesn't sound like the greatest thing in the world to me. It would essentially have both guys using the exact same move-set, give or take a few differences, but basically, they're too alike, and it would get tiresome.

Now, Benoit Vs. Owen in his prime, I would definitely enjoy seeing.

Austin/Pillman vs. Fantastics would rock the house, too.

And yes, Rudo, Kawada/Benoit would be pretty damn cool. I wouldn't mind seeing Nobuhiko Takada v. Steven Regal in their primes, either. Feel the carny shooty goodness!!

You bring up a good point as Benoit pretty much lifted his moveset from Dynamite. I guess it's more the thrill of seeing A) Two great pure workers go at it B ) Benoit would be wrestling his idol. Actually, what would be funny is a Triple Threat Dynamite Kid vs Benoit vs Jamie Knoble.

In a Russo-led organization, it would be a 4 way between B.Hart, S. Michaels, R. Flair, and S. Douglas ... because shoots = ratings!

Otherwise, give me Flair vs. AA in a prolonged feud, leading to a 2 out of 3 falls match. The promos would rock, and the match would be stiff as hell and would be, as Gorilla used to say, "a main event in any arena around the world".

See to me that would make it even better, because you could have the fact that they know each other inside and out lead to sweet reversals and counters and also each other knowing what they have to weaken on the other to prevent them from doing the moves.

I suppose that you could say it might make it better, but I just have a feeling they would cancle each other out.

Brian, Windham/Dynamite would have been incredible. Luger/Windham vs. the Bulldogs would have also rocked. Flair vs. Dynamite would have rocked.

And even though this may be a little too markish, but RVD as he is now v. Sabu back when he could really go would be quite a sight to see. Watching the matches they had together now is just painfull for me, because if you think about what they could have done had Sabu not been so horribly washed up and had Rob not been so horribly one-dimensional, it's clear they could have produced something good.

Add me to the list of people who would pay to see a prolonged Flair/AA feud with a good blow off.

Waltman or Lynn back around the mid/early-nineties vs. X-Pac now would have been some good stuff.

I'd like to see Randy Savage and Steve Austin beat the holy shit out of eachother in a match that would resemble the Savage/DDP series only be better.

Yeah, a Savage/Austin series could rule.

Brian, what do you mean by Waltman Vs. himself now being good? Do you mean Waltman as he used to be vs. RVD now? Color me confused.

I always thought Can-Am in their prime vs. Benoit/Deano or Benoit/Liger woulda been purdy nifty. Got the Calgary roots and everything. Hase vs. Bret in the early 90's would have been pretty interesting too.

When exactly was William's prime anyway? He seemed to max out in the United States around '88. I keep hearing that he went on to many good years in Japan, but every time he made a US tour, he stunk out the joint (with the notable exception of The Steiners-Gordy/Williams feud).
