Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I'm mailing Buried Alive and KOTR94 soon and then I'll do TIT
Guest kingkamala Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I find Slamboree 99 to be underrated, it has a super-hot opener, a decent Sting-Goldberg match, a pretty funny Charles Robinson-Gorgeous George match and hell the main event isn't half bad. It's not a great PPV by any means but I think its pretty damn good
Guest pete Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I find Starcade 96 really underrated. There were a lot of good matches on that card. Dragon/Malenko 4 1/2*, Liger/Misterio 3 3/4* the work was good the finish was botced, Jarrett/Benoit 3 1/2*,Guerrero/DDP 3* and for nostalgia Piper/Hogan. I also like Superbrawl 97-Malenko/Syxx 3 1/4*, Lucha match 3 3/4*, Misterio/Iakakea 3 1/4*, Page/Bagwell 2 3/4* Guerrero/Jericho 3 1/4* Benoit/Sullivan 3 1/2* Heck even the Outsiders had a good tag match with Giant/Luger 3* probaly there best matches ever. Nothing was off the charts but all the matches were good.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2002 GAB 90 wasn't bad either... Along with SS 2001. I'm only saying that because even though people only talk about the top two matches, the other matches on there (except for the UT/Kane schlacking) were good. Guest DEEP THOUGHT Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I've always enjoyed SummerSlam '89 (with the exception of the main event). I think it is much better than the 1990 version.
Guest Caliban Report post Posted August 28, 2002 King Of The Ring 1996. All anyone ever mentions this for is Austin's speech, but you had some great matches too in Austin/Mero, Bulldog/HBK and Mankind/Undertaker. At the time, there hadn't been anything like that match before in the WWF.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 28, 2002 Mankind v. Taker sucks ass but it is a good show. Austin is amazing as is the main event
Guest Caliban Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I don't remember it being a good match per se, but I don't remember it completely blowing either. It was something different for the time. I'd say that that feud was one of the big pieces in the puzzle of the transition from the New Generation era to the Attitude era.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted August 28, 2002 I agree with you on that- their best match IMO was the Buried Alive match- Just really cool
Guest BorneAgain Report post Posted August 28, 2002 Summerslam 97: A Hot HHH-Mankind match, a fantastic Owen-Austin contest (until the ending of course) and a Kick ass Bret-Undertaker main event. Ringpost sharpshooter!!!!!

Guest HBK WILL ROT IN HELL Report post Posted August 29, 2002 Summerslam 1997 aswell. An Awesome main event, with Bret winning the title due to Shawn Michaeals losing his cool, after Bret spat in his face and then shawn misses a chairshot and knocks out Taker and Shawn is forced to count the three just great stuff

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted August 29, 2002 1995 Fall Brawl. 95 WCW was ugly, but this show had real gems in Pillman/Johnny B Badd and Flair/Anderson. The Mr Wonderful skit was priceless as well.
Guest Si82 Report post Posted August 29, 2002 I'd have to go for Royal Rumble 1990 and the first In Your House. Royal Rumble is one of my favourite PPV's of all time and has a good submission match between Greg Valentine and Ronnie Garvin and a super hot Royal Rumble match. As for the first In Your House, other than the crappy Mabel/Adam Bomb and Diesel/Sid matches, the card was good. Bret Hart and Hakushi and Razor Ramon and Jeff Jarrett/Roadie all have good matches. Sure it has a good opener, and a fairly comical Robinson/George match, but the rest sucks big time. I mean there is some real shit on there.

I know what you think but this is an under rated PPV at least in my mind. Oh well, like Scott Keith says one man's dud is another man's match of the year. You really want to see the pits go and watch Great American Bash 99 best match at **1/2. Another PPV I feel is under rated is Fall Brawl 2000 easily best WCW PPV of 2000(Which isn't saying much though) and probably slightly better then WWF Unforgiven that month. It has a good twelve man elimination match, a decent Elix Skipper-Kwee Wee match, a good MIA-Three Count match and a surprisingly decent Kevin Nash-Booker T cage match but the show is stolen by a shockingly good Goldberg-Scott Steiner match. Sure there's some crap on it but the good outweighs the bad. A lot of people look past this show and with good reason cause this was in the abysmal Russo era of WCW. Guest converge241 Report post Posted August 29, 2002 Backlash after WMXV. Souled Out 2 (after Starrcade 97). all around great cards with only minor annoyances. Canadian Stampede - if you havent seen it that is, most people read about it and say "its only 4 matches" or whatever but its great just for the crowd. Agreeded Fall Brawl is a kick-ass PPV and was way better than Unforgiven. That Steiner/Goldberg match is brutal (in a good way!), the Jarrett/Awesome bunkhouse brawl was entertaining (despite the interferance) and the 3 Count/M.I.A. and Skipper/Kwee Wee matches were also good. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted September 5, 2002 I've always held a special place in my heart for Summerslam 88 but I think that PPV was pretty underrated as well. The opener between the Rougeaus and the Bulldogs was hot, Hot, HOT, plus it's got the Warrior's win over the Honky Tonk Man, a terrific Demolition/Hart Foundation Match, the Bossman murdering Koko and a hot main event where Liz rips her skirt off.
