Guest Si82 Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 RR 89 and RR91. It wasn't a ***** classic but didn't suck either. Bossman's last run in the WWE was so bad it was hilarious. I'm sorry to correct you Mr. Barron but the Bossman/Duggan match was actually at Royal Rumble 1990 (one of my favourite PPV's) and that match sucked. So did that snore-fest with The Barbarian at Royal Rumble 1991. Mind you his last run was pretty bad. My favoutire Bossman line has to be: "Big Show, you're a nasty bastard and your momma said so!" Classic.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I made a mistake- damnit!! I don't remember those matches being too bad but the Show-Bossman cancer angle was hilarious.
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 About Luger- Any guy who can go from heel to face to heel in the same match and have it totally work has to have some talent I agree. At least Luger knows how to change his persona, unlike a certain Canadian wrestler from Edmonton with incredible WORKRATE.
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 As for wrestlers that I hate, I can't really think of any. There are some I really dislike, like: Bradshaw Triple H (I hate to go along with the IWC in anything, but I can't help myself) Goldberg X Pac That's about it.

Guest Strike Force! Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Test can't perform a resthold with psychology so he doesn't count.

There are plenty of wrestlers on the roster who can't change their personas, what's your point?
Guest imajackoff? Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 She isnt a wrestler, but I have lots of hate for Stephanie McMahon. I also hate Rikishi, Bossman, Undertaker and to a lesser extent, HHH.

At least Luger knows how to change his persona, unlike a certain Canadian wrestler from Edmonton with incredible WORKRATE. he can change his persona like crazy, that doesn't mean his matches are good. Subtract Flair matches and Steamboat matches, and we're left with LEX vs. YOKO~! smell the ratings. I'll assume you're talking about Benoit, who has had ***** matches on both sides of the globe, in variations of styles, and COUNTLESS **** and better matches with wrestlers ranging from Great Sasuke to Kevin Sullivan, but gee, not turning face/heel every few months, THAT is how people will SURELY remember that overrated boring mat wrestler short guy.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Strike Force watches wrestling for the entertainment which is why he doesn't like Benoit
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Oh my GOSH!!....I actually said a bad thing about the great WRESTLER Benoit...and look at the backlash.... Whatever.....
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Strike Force watches wrestling for the entertainment which is why he doesn't like Benoit That makes sense....i think. If he'd rather watch hogan lumber around like an orange ball of arthritis, bully for him.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Oh my GOSH!!....I actually said a bad thing about the great WRESTLER Benoit...and look at the backlash.... Whatever..... I didn't say there was anything wrong with that. I liked Benoit when he was in WCW in 93 (i was 8) and as a big Horsemen fan in 95 so I really liked Benoit then- and since then I've been a fan
Guest Incandenza Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 I think Strike Force! is overreacting. No one really seems to care that he doesn't like Benoit.
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Strike Force watches wrestling for the entertainment which is why he doesn't like Benoit No, that's not it actually. It's just that he's overrated. Nothing distinguishes him from the many, many, many wrestlers that have come before him. He's not Ric Flair, he's not Harley Race, .... He's not even as good as Chris Adams or any Von Erich (well, he's maybe better than Mike).
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 I think Strike Force! is overreacting. No one really seems to care that he doesn't like Benoit. You obviously don't care because you don't post in this thread. Oh wait..you DID post in this thread. Hmm...
EL DANDY~! Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Strike's and old-school junkie. At least that is what I can get from this. His favorite wrestlers are probably people like Race, the Von Erichs, Chris Adams, Flair...etcetra. Nothing wrong with that...although I'm saying right now...Kerry did NOT deserve going over Hennig for the IC title. No way.

Oddly enough, Kerry was my least favorite Von Erich...at least of what I consider the three legit wrestlers. I don't consider Mike...he was just all around bad.
Guest Incandenza Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 You obviously don't care because you don't post in this thread. Oh wait..you DID post in this thread. Hmm... Since my original statement was worded in a fashion which implies that no one cares what you think--which was not my intent--I'll put it this way: No one is taking great offense to your disliking of Benoit. However, I think your saying "Oh my GOSH!!....I actually said a bad thing about the great WRESTLER Benoit...and look at the backlash...." was an overreaction to Bob's statement.

Anybody with ALF as an avatar can't be all bad.
