Slowly but surely, you will die. I saw the photo from a semi recent daily comic and really liked it... so I turned it into my avatar using Corel Photo Paint. She was in my grade and I'd had a HUGE crush on her since she moved to my school 2 years before. That year in 6th grde I was trying hard to flirt with her and she sat next to me in Social Studies. There was an obnoxious kid in our class named Mike who was in sped class and always said rude stuff to her. I finally told him off for it and punched him in the face. She thanked me and it was really cool because we became good friends and she was really popular and i was semi-popular(at the time) and I was really really close to going with her. I went to a High School football game that Friday night and was gonna ask her out. I was all set and I saw her making out and doing weird stuff with an 8th grader named Kevin. I was pissed and I haven't really asked her out. But look at me now, I'm much more [oular now, I've lost my virginity, I'm making out with 10th grader girls in bathrooms and screwing 7th grade girls...ITS ALL GOOD!!

I thought about her all the time and couldn't stop. She sat next to me in computer class and I always tried to talk to her but didn't have the guts. Finally, on Valentine's Day 1999, I wrote her a Valentine card and sent it to her disguising myself as a secret admierer. She liked the card but I she didn't respond when I told her it was me who sent the card. For about a month, she was too shy to respond so finally, I wrote her a emotional letter telling her how I felt about her. I even drew a picture of us holding hands. I gave it to her but she said she liked me, but not in the way I wanted. She thought of me more as a brother than a boyfriend. I was crushed but I still continued on. The strange thing was that despite her telling me how she felt, she flirted with me continously until graduation. One moment, I'll never forget was when she invited me to sit next to her and play a game of checkers with her. It was the best 40 minutes of the year! The summer went, and we started 6th grade in different classes, and she finally said she would go on a date with me. BUT STUPID ME! I forgot to ask her where she lived and her phone number so the date never happened. I have been thinking about what would have happened to this day. After that, she became pissed at me and never wanted to speak to me again. I guess I deserved it. Then towards the end of 6th grade, she started to grow close to me, but by then, still frustrated, I concetrated on other girls. So, maybe my last shot with her was gone. The next year, she had left the school and had gotten on with her life and me too. BUT WAIT! There's more. When I first saw Avril Lavinge's "Complicated" video, she bear a striking resemblance to the girl I had a crush on. I started thinking about the girl again and decided to try and contact her again. I have been looking everyday, but I chickened out and worried if she would hang up on me. But I will contact her again. I will.
