EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2002 Anybody think that we could see one more Misawa/Kawada match before they both hang up the boots? AJPW and NOAH are connected...so who knows? I would love to see that. It probably won't be a match like they've had before...but who knows?
Guest Crippler15 Report post Posted September 4, 2002 I thought it was Noah and New Japan connected
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted September 4, 2002 NOAH, New Japan, and Zero-One are connected on the heavyweight level, plus Michinoku Pro and Toryumon occasionally come in to play together, but All Japan is pretty much in the doghouse as far as the other promotions are concerned. Right now, they don't co-promote with anyone.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2002 Regardless...any chance of a match between the two?
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted September 4, 2002 If Kawada gets pissed enough at the way Mutoh is running the company, maybe.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2002 I say that he does the Ric Flair veto, and then bring in Misawa for ***** matches a la Steamboat and Funk.
Guest BigPoppaKev Report post Posted September 5, 2002 I highly doubt they will wrestle again and I don't think even if they did it would be anywhere close to *****. Probably more like ***. Both of those wrestlers are wearing down after all of those years of head drops and bumps. It would be good for historical reasons. Maybe they could do like Misawa v.s Kawada in NOAH and like Kobashi v.s Kawada in AJ so both get some worth out of it.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted September 5, 2002 The problem is, as long as Kawada stays in AJ, it will not happen, plain and simple. Misawa fucked over Mrs. Baba more than once, and I seriously doubt she'd ever do business with him again.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted September 5, 2002 Eh, Kawada really has no purpose in Mutoh-run All Japan, and if decided to go become a free agent, a match with Misawa could happen. I don't know how many people would actually pay to see it, but that's neither here nor there.
