He fought Jarrett to a no-contest in 1995, and the title was held up. Jarrett won the rematch to win his third IC title. The other time was in 1997 when he beat IC Champ Owen Hart in a non-title match on RAW, then lost the rematch the next week when the title was on the line.

Mero won in 5 or 6 minutes after the Wild Thing. Since no one's asked another question Here's another question from King Kamala. That was the province, but what city was it in? Supposedly, they did the title switch as a favor/gift to Joanne Rougeau, who had just become the WWF's promoter in Quebec.
