Wrestling Capital of the World?

Which city or region do you think would be the "professional wrestling capital of the world?" As in one place you associate for with wrestling than anywhere else.

Absolutely.

I've always wondered the rest of the world thinks of Salt Lake City as a wrestling city. We had the first live SmackDown last August. Are we quiet? Dumb? Nassau?

Utah? That's Mormon-Land! The greater Salt Lake area is not much of a wrestling area to most people as it's a colony of latter-day saints that probably disapprove of Vince and Attitude, and the most evil of evil father-and-son duos, Steven and Sean Covey, hail from Provo, which is nearby.

So, the world thinks of Salt Lake City as a world of 7 Habits zombies who think that wrestling is bad because it withdraws from people's emotional bank accounts and the superstars of WWE just aren't proactive enough.

So our crowds suck? Damn! My best friend and I try to carry the crowd at every show we attend... We aren't Mormon, though.

Well, ...that explains why we don't get too many shows. There are some Mormon rednecks that go, though.

They're not all worthy of the Temple...

True Story: If you listen to the crowd on the 8/16/01 episode of SmackDown at certain parts, you can hear Valerie & me screaming. Over the entire crowd.

Jeff Hardy (her), Chris Jericho, ... oh, and I screamed for Sean O'Haire/Chuck Palumbo. We're very noticiable. ...

Chuck got to the ring, turned to face my section, and stared at me for a second or two. Chuck's a creepy bastard...

New York City is the headquarters but like Bret Hart4ever said Boston has the most loyal fans The Boston Garden sold out for a WWF HOUSE SHOW in June of 95 and the main event was a Sid Vs Diesel now that's what I call loyalty.
