Guest Trivia247 Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 Watching KOTR 95 and who do I see in the front row... the Same man with the Front row seat to Every Philly ECW show from 94 to the end....you guessed it the ECW HAT GUY! WHo the hell is he and why does he always get front and center seats?
Guest BAR Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 I don't know, anybody? Also, how does that dude with the long hair and glasses appear everywhere and that guy who used to wear that pink shirt at the WWF PPV's?
Guest converge241 Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 there is/was an ECW superfan thread around here somewhere that breaks these guys down. i dont remember all the details, but do remember always seeing them. the bearded guy is "faith No More" guy - Vladimir. he showed up all over the place @ ecw and wwf stuff, raws, shotgun saturday nights, ppvs hes one of the first guys to congratulate Sid @ Survivor Series 96
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 Dave Meltzer is front and center for Flair/Steamboat at the 89 Chi-Town Rumble. .With a 'fro
Guest eiker_ir Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 the "Faith no More" is the one i alwasy see on practicly every event i see, but how the hell does he get first roe tickets every time? i understand the Hat guy beign in the first row in ECW, but how the hell does the other guy does it in the WWF????? HOW DAMNIT, HOW?!?!
Guest converge241 Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 you know whats weird? he showed up after not being seen for a while at some recent WWE events but he was further back than he had ever been
Guest papacita Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 the bearded guy is "faith No More" guy - Vladimir. Actually, Vladimir is the guy with the Glasses that used to be at every WWF PPV. They did an article on him in WWF Magazine a while back. As far as the hat guy...I dunno how he gets his seats, but I met him before a Sunday Night Heat taping once. I know that he was a part of club ECW, so that's how he got those seats every month.
Guest AM The Kid Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 What about bald, glasses, wifebeater guy?
Guest Bricks Posted September 15, 2002 Report Posted September 15, 2002 How about fluoroscent pink jacket bald headed guy? He's front row at all WWF PPVs it seems, mostly not on the hard camera side, but at No Mercy 1999 he's right there in front clapping his hands. Heck, him and I assume his wife, yellow jacket girl got a cameo on Raw with Christian (Christian just beat Edge for the IC Title the night before).
Guest cynicalprofit Posted September 15, 2002 Report Posted September 15, 2002 I believe Faith No More guy was getting creaped out by the attention he was getting so he stopped going to shows for a while.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 15, 2002 Report Posted September 15, 2002 There in the front at Wrestlemania 15
Guest dpac Posted September 16, 2002 Report Posted September 16, 2002 i met the faith no more guy at summerslam a few years ago (the one where foley won the title) he seemed like an alright dude
Guest BAR Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 So has anyone figured out who the guy with the pink jacket and bald head is? He's everywhere, I still don't know who Vladimir is, or are they the same guy.
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 So has anyone figured out who the guy with the pink jacket and bald head is? He's everywhere, I still don't know who Vladimir is, or are they the same guy. Pink jacket guy and yellow jacket girl are husband and wife. Both are involved in the Ohio indy wrestling scene and thus have various ins at events they go to. I've been to big 3 and indy events in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati and they were there for all of them. I've talked to both of them when I was working with an indy and they seem nice enough.
Guest BAR Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Sorry to bring this topic to the top again but I just watched ECW Path Of Destruction and during the Malenko/Guerrero and Rey/Psicosis match there is one guy who makes you want to watch his actions rather than the match, he's really enthusiastic. He has no shirt and what looks to be dreadlocks. Rey actually reaches down from the top rope and tags his hand after the match, anybody have any info on this dude?
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 Wasn't there a Sign Guy that had a "Cane Dewey" sign?
Guest BAR Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 Wasn't there a Sign Guy that had a "Cane Dewey" sign? Yeah, I think Mick talked about it in his book.

I believe I know who you're talking about. I think he and his wife were at WCW's Great American Bash and WWF's Summerslam '95, both in the front row. Is this the guy we're talking about? He had a pink jacket and bald head, so I'm assuming it is. You mentioned something about Indy wrestling in the Ohio area, and that's where I believe GAB took place. Personally, watching GAB '95, I really thought that the guy was a retard for the first hour or so. Guess not though.
Guest treble charged Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Faith No More guy is also in the crowd for Guilty as Charged 2001 (which was ECW's last PPV). Also, you can see the ECW Hat Guy and his friends quite often on Slamboree '94.
Guest HBK16 Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 The Hat Guy got 1st row tickets because he helped sell tickets for the ECW events in 1994 therefor getting a nice gift in return. I have noticed a few other regulars that always, always have the same seat to every ECW show. Like the guy who sat next to the Hat Guy and the one that wore that Sabu rag on his head (I am not sure what it was but he always wore it and cheered for Sabu). I have seen Hat Guy at numerous WWF shows with very good seats.
Guest kingkamala Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Hat Guy was at Wrestlemania XV in the 2nd row, he was really marking out when Austin beat out Rocky
cawthon777 Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Last year I got an old Best of the WWF tape from when Piper had just turned face in 86 and ... believe it or not ... Vladimir is in the front row at MSG. Not only that, but Piper actually has him get on the ring apron and asks him who he should get as a tag partner against Paul Orndorff and Harley Race for the following month's show. ...And of course, the answer is "HULK HOGAN!!!!!" I've seen him at WrestleMania VIII, WrestleMania X, the Curtain Call, almost all the MSG shows from the late 80s and early 90s, and of course Survivor Series 96. Pink jacket guy was also at Summer Slam 95 if I remember correctly (or it may have been 96 considering No Mercy and the 96 show were both in Cleveland).
Guest Youre Gonna Learn Posted October 1, 2002 Report Posted October 1, 2002 The only two fans I have consistantly seen are the one that looks like Hulk Hogan and the one that looks like Mick Foley. The Hogan guy always dressed like Hogan, and the Mick Foley guy wore a Dude Love outfit to SummerSlam 1997.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Yeah, that dude who dresses like Hulk Hogan always seems to get the short end of the stick when he attends an event: - Survivor Series 1991 - UT beats Hogan - KOTR 1993 - Yoko beats Hogan and sends him packing - HH 1994 - Hogan gets beat down to close the show - GAB 1995 - Hogan only makes a wee appearance during "The Main Event" pregame show.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 What about bald, glasses, wifebeater guy? Ahhh that guy is at EVERY PPV all across the country. Whether it's in Cali or New York, he's there. He marks out for all the faces too, esp. Hogan.
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted October 5, 2002 Report Posted October 5, 2002 I believe I know who you're talking about. He was at World War 3 97, where well Hogan helps Scott Hall win the battle royal but other then that Hogan isn't on the show
Guest BAR Posted October 5, 2002 Report Posted October 5, 2002 I'll ask this one again, does ANYONE know who this guy is?... He was in the front row for quite a lot of ECW events from 95-96. I think he has dreadlocks and occassionaly has his shirt off. He is the most enthusiastic fan i've ever seen. Just watch Path of Destruction, the Eddie/Dean match and the Rey/Psicosis match and you'll notice him straight away. Rey also puts his hand down and slaps his hand while he is on the top rope.
