Grad Part aired in July? That is amazing, because show finales usually never go past June, let alone July.

 

Yes, there are tons of loopholes in Buffy, but I am just curious that is all.

 

I don't think the job thing is a loophole, it was just a thought that's all.

Like I said before she had to get a job or the social workers would take Dawn away from her.

 

Before that she probably did it because she wanted somewhat of a normal life...that and like was said before The Council aren't the most caring of people.

You know how the writers are. Storylines aren't just dropped and just about everything they mention gets resolved at a later time.

I had a feeling they would throw a swerve into the ep, as they were kind of making it seem a bit obvious Dawn would be a Potential. With that said though, as just mentioned, I doubt this is the last we hear of that.

 

I like the stuff at the end with Xander and Dawn.

Oh yeah Xander's speech at the end was great. It's good to hear him finally speak on his place in the group.

This episode wasn't as good as the last few. There was just something missing in it. I guess because the ep was based around Dawn, and I could care less about her character.

 

The whole thing at the end with Xander and Dawn was really cool. Xander has a really good point, he has no powers. The only power he has is the power of humor.

Indeed, Clem rules. "C'mere girls I wanna tell you something..*makes Large Marge face*". Good to see him back. I'm so pleased Joss threw that swerve in, I just hope that they aren't going to come back to it and say it went to her first . However, since the spell didn't "surround" her in light, kinda just blasted her, I don't think they will. Decent episode, but now we get to wait 2 weeks for the next one *grumble"*. At least there's Angel.

Thank GOD it wasn't Dawn...I was just ready to get all pissed off and everything. More Clem is good...about time he showed up, considering how much he was in season 6.

 

Good ep...not the best, but it's still their best half season start.

I thought that was a pretty good ep. I initially thought that the other girl was going to be a vamp...you know, since she was talking about being different and all. Oops.

 

I loved Andrew in this ep...seeing him spout off about Dragonball and how the Slayer is a metaphor for womenhood was awesome.

I spent a week with my little cousins...all they watched 24/7 was Zoog Disney.......if I ever saw Lizzie McGwire on my TV again I'd probably shoot the TV.....so I don't really remember anyone from that show since I was trying to block it out. So I have no idea which SiT was from that show.

She played Chloe(was mistaken for The First - who was impersonating that blonde Potential - by Buffy, when the girls were downstairs talking while Buffy was out getting the black chick). She had the short, dark hair.

 

*shrug*

 

The one that wasn't there, was the one she was. Just rewatch the previous episode(where Buffy kills the Uber-vamp), and then this most recent one. You'll notice.

 

The black chick, Anabelle, Kennedy, and the one with the beret(or hat, or whatever) are still there. The blonde was killed and impersonated by The First. Then the Lizzy McGuire-chick(actually plays Lizzy's friend on the show... sadly, I've never SEEN the show, but are always showing commercials and whatnot, anywho...), and she's gone.

 

That went on FAR too long. Sorry.

I guess it's 100% clear now that Spike's chip doesn't work. Since he was able to attack the Potentials. With the chip he wasn't even allowed to point a fake gun. So... dunno if it matters, but now we know, right?

It's funny because my ex gf, who is the one who got me into Buffy, marked out when she thought Dawn was the slayer. I don't know why, she thought that. I made fun of her because I think Dawn is the most BORING character. I think that is why this ep wasn't as good, because it was basically featured around Dawn.

 

Whatever, my ex also thought DMX was a good actor, so I can't blaim her for her stupidity.

 

So who is Clem? I have no idea, thanks fellas.

Clem is the droopy skinned demon that was in Season 6. He's a kindhearted demon though. He became friends with the group.

 

Oh and I thought that Spike's chip doesn't go off unless he "intends" to hurt a human.

 

I distinctly remember an episode where he said the intent has to be there. I guess since it's triggered by his brain that it can tell whether he's serious or not.

heey Lizzie McGuire isn't that bad of a show. It's the only decent show of that whole Disney bunch. Well ok it's not good enough for me to switch to on my own, but I don't mind watching it when my "niece" is watching.

 

I'm kinda surprised i didn't recognize that girl when watching Buffy. However she does look alot different when not on Lizzie.

 

Besides Lizzie's kinda hot for being 15...great I feel like kinetic now.

I have a friend who told me that he think she looks like, and I quote, "A young Jenna Jameson." Take that for what you will.

 

I would argue that Lalaine, the missing Potential Chloe(what the hell is up with that? Are we going to get an explanation? Did she get red-shirted between episodes?), who plays Lizzie's friend "Miranda", is much cuter, but then there's been enough quasi-pedophilia in this thread.

 

So I'm gonna think happy thoughts about the very adult, beautiful woman, Alyson Hannigan.
