Dirty People, next new episode just posting it for those who care.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Renegade slayer Faith (Eliza Dushku) returns to Sunnydale just in time to help Buffy and her gang fight a nefarious new foe. The unusually violent episode opens as a girl flees a group of zombies and takes refuge with a cleric named Caleb (Nathan Fillion). However, it quickly becomes clear that Caleb is not on God's side, but the First's. He asks her to deliver a threatening message to the “original, accept-no-substitutes Slayer”...before stabbing the girl. As the Scoobies respond by preparing for battle, Buffy copes with the return of Faith, who, much to Buffy's chagrin, bonds with Spike. Meanwhile, in a lighter vein, Xander fantasizes about wild times with potential slayers.

From the Sci-Fi Wire (with possible Angel casting spoilers):

Buffy Won't Spin Off In Fall

There will be no Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff series, at least not next fall, cast and crew of the UPN series told E! Online. "Somewhere down the line," Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) told the site. "I reckon there will be a Buffy spinoff. There's no rush on my part, and I know the fans will wait."

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

The site also reported that Head and James Marsters (Spike) may make the transition to The WB's spinoff series Angel in the meantime. "I think maybe I will," Head said. "I talked to one of the writers about it and said it might be quite fun to bring me over there. It's such an open book, and that's what makes it so exciting."

"Yeah, I think I am," Marsters said. "Definitely, we don't know—but it is being talked about."

But other cast members were not sure. "I don't know, probably not," said Alyson Hannigan (Willow). "Right now I'm in talks for features and stuff, but nothing I can go into."

As for the upcoming Buffy series finale in May, the site said that it will deal with Angel (David Boreanaz) and Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), as well as Spike. "I'm in the process of writing the script now," creator Joss Whedon told the site. "The show is about life, and the final statement on life is death. On this show, it's not even that. You want to pay homage to the fact that [Angel's] a big part of [buffy's] heart, no matter what, without saying anything definite on what will happen for them in the future." Buffy airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Interesting...I cant wait to see how the finale turns out.

730 = 2 years. Season 5 was when Dawn was supposed to be sacrificed. Little Miss Muffet = Dawn. NASTY writing, ain't it.

Also remember 'Restless' when Buffy is dreaming about being in the bedroom.

Buffy: "Faith and I just made that bed..."

Tara: "You have no idea of who you are ... what's to come (Dawn)"

The clock in the room reads 7:30

Buffy: "It's so late..."

Tara: "Oh, that? That's way off."

There's also the line right after that where, as Buffy's leaving, Tara says "be back before dawn."

Sweet FX is showing Season 1!

I really liked that first episode. Was it originally a full 2 hour episode that they broke into two parts for syndication?

And wasn't the outfit we first see Willow in the same one she was shown wearing in "Restless" in front of the class?

Yes, it was orginally two hours long.

And that was the same outfet that Willow wore in 'Restless'.

Okay, I get the whole 730 shit, but what does that have to do with Dawn coming back?

She didn't come back at 730 or anything like that, so what's up with that? I know for a fact that Youth can help me with this, so please do so because I am lost.

730 I think was the count down to Buffy's death since it was first said in the Season Finale of Season 3. 2 years later would be the Season Finale of Season 5.

Since Dawn was a big part of that it also foreshadowed her arrival. 730 and "be back before dawn" seem to go hand in hand.

But what does 730 have to do with Buffy's death?

I get the gists of it, but I don't get the whole thing.

I don't think it really has to do with Dawn appearing, as much as it has to do with Dawn's purpose and Buffy's death. So 730 refers to both events. Makes some sense, considering Buffy and Dawn share blood, and thus, these two things intertwine.

Being that the reference was first made in Graduation Day Part 2, counting down from 730 = two years countdown until the big season 5 finale. This is where Glory has to open her portal, and use 'The Key' aka Dawn to do it... which was Dawn's ultimate purpose. It's also where Buffy died, giving up her life for Dawn to start hers.

And just for kicks, here are all the references to 730, Dawn, and 'The Gift', as far as I can remember.

---

From Graduation Day Part 1

Faith: "Look at you, all dressed up in big sister's clothes."

---

From Graduation Day Part 2, during the dream sequence

Faith: "Miles to go. Little Miss Muffet counting down from 730..."

Miles to go = So much to do until The Gift.

Little Miss Muffet = Dawn.

Counting down from 730 = The 2 years countdown, until The Gift.

---

From season 4's This Year's Girl, as Buffy and Faith are making a bed.

Buffy: "I-I wish I could stay, but . . ."

Faith: "Oh, you have to go."

Buffy: "It's just with . . ."

Faith: "(knowingly) Little sis coming. I know. So much to do before she gets here."

---

There's Buffy's dream in Restless, as already covered.

About the clock reading 730 and Tara's line about it being way off. The original prophecy was made one year earlier in Graduation Day Part 2. Thus, the clock in Restless is running slow, considering that it's now one year until The Gift.

---

Another reference to Little Miss Muffet occured in Real Me, the second ep of season 5, as that insane guy said to Dawn....

Guy: I know you. Curds and whey. I know what you are. You ... don't ... belong ... here.

---

Yet another reference occurs later on when in No Place Like Home

Glory: "someone's gonna sit down on their tuffet and make this birthing stop..."

A reference to Dawn being placed on the tower for the ceremony to open the portal.

---

The best case I've heard for Little Miss Muffet being Dawn is from buffybrotherhood.com

Little miss muffet (Dawn)

Sat on the tuffet (The place where she would be bled.)

Eating her curds and whey, (Eating the barriers that separate dimensions.)

along came the spider (Along came Buffy.)

and sat down beside her (Took Dawn’s place.)

and sacred little miss muffet away. (Prevented the key from being used.)

One last reference from 'The Gift'.

Doc appears on the scaffold, tosses Spike to the ground, and looks at his watch. Guess what time it is?

So, 7:30 was the time that Buffy was going to die?

I don't get how 7:30 symbolizes 2 years from Graduation Pt 2. I don't really get it, I'm just dumb on that part.

I just don't get the whole 7:30 thing, I understand everything about Dawn and shit.

Yes, I wish Vince could learn storytelling like Joss can.

I've got an idea, Vince should hire Joss. If he did so, WWE would be making so much fuckin money it isn't even funny.
