Guest Mole Report post Posted May 18, 2003 Willow the Wicca could work.
Guest brokentusk16 Report post Posted May 18, 2003 I'm not saying the show should be without humor, but update the dialogue. It's been getting on my nerves lately. And maybe we could stick an established star with the new guy. Maybe Spike; the two could have a "Butch Cassady/Sundance Kid" thing going.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 19, 2003 That could work...
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I thought Xander and Spike in an Odd Couple type setting where they share an apartment and have wacky adventures would be cool...

Guest Max Danger Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I'm not saying the show should be without humor, but update the dialogue. It's been getting on my nerves lately. How so? I'm just curious as to how it's been annoying you lately. Personally, the last episode, Buffy kinda reverted back to her old ways of speaking("What's that mean anyway, 'put out to pasture'?" and pretty much the whole conversation with Xander and then later Spike). She just seemed to be more at ease and funnier than in the past. Wasn't as serious. "Sigh." - Willow Rosenberg
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Buffy is best when she is being cute. In season 6, she wasn't that cute.
Guest Max Danger Report post Posted May 19, 2003 You are correct sir.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I want a spinoff with Spike and Andrew and one eyed Xander all sharing an apartment. It'll be like the odd couple...only with three of them.
Guest Cavi Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Troika spinoff = gold.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I want a spinoff with Spike and Andrew and one eyed Xander all sharing an apartment. It'll be like the odd couple...only with three of them. I'm not a big fan of Andrew, how about just Xander and Spike.
Guest fazzle Report post Posted May 19, 2003 How bout a core Scooby trio spinoff?
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 19, 2003 That would be the best thing.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Andrew rules. Without him...there will be no spinoff.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 19, 2003 I could live without Andrew. This is my last post in this thread till Monday, I'm off to Ireland. Hopefully the VCR records Buffy correct, or I'll be pissed.
Guest fazzle Report post Posted May 19, 2003 (edited) Well, I just got done watching the finale, maybe not an A+, but a solid A. But...one problem Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I''m confused. How's Spike going to be on Angel now? Was that just to throw us off? Edit: Oh, and all the hype for Angel's guest appearances was for nothing. He had a total of, what, 5 minutes for both episodes? Edit #2: Trogdor! Ok, I got nothing else, just wanted to say Trogdor. Spoiler MEANS spoiler, you really shouldn't read Edited May 19, 2003 by fazzle
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 19, 2003 BLAST! I WILL NOT READ! I would watch a Fear Demon spin off...if he hadn't been stepped on
Guest Marshall Report post Posted May 19, 2003 Am two hours away from the finale, thanks to Bittorrent.

Guest stardust Report post Posted May 20, 2003 On a related note (somewhat) has anyone read the new BTVS Guide to Philosophy (I think that's what it's titled...it's close to that) yet? It's by the same guy who wrote the Matrix Philosophy book and a couple of others (the Buffy one is the fourth in the series).
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Interesting note: The novelization for the ENTIRE 7th season is out now: They take all of the episodes and novelize/recap them, in order, not counting the Angel crossover shows. It's about $8 and around 700 pages.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 20, 2003 I was watching a lil bit of the original film Buffy today for the first time in like a decade... I liked it a lot the first time I saw it... Man, I was a dumb kid.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 20, 2003 AHHH!!!! Digital Cable got shut off!!! I unhooked the box, regular cable still works. Hope I can see the episode before Whitey shuts me down, if not I'll have to trek over to a friend's and watch it. Damn thing was going to get paid today anyway. Guest Marshall Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I'm disapointed with that ending. It feels unfinished somehow. What was the point in having Anya die? She could of lived and ended the Xander will they wont they get back together. And if Spike comes back and goes to Angel, then won't he want to find Buffy? I've heard there might be a movie in the planning. Maybe that can tie up the few loose ends.

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Season 5 is airing on Space again, and I'm watching it... You're all fucking nuts. Glory *is* the best freakin villain (you can make the case for Angelus) and Season 5 *is* the best season. I mean, jesus fucking christ, every eps. is a homerun. I was just watching the eps. where Dawn discovers her keyness, fuck I got all emotional... I mean, I didn't tear up, but I actually felt bad for the girl - for dawn!. Oh, and Spike... Spike *is* the best character in the show... no fucking doubt about it.
Guest fazzle Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Glory? Best villian? She didn't do ANYTHING, at least the First has that whole non-corporeal excuse.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 20, 2003 She didn't do anything? Fazzle *does* suck! Glorys 'excuse' was that (a)She was insane and (b)She was hindered by Ben's humanity.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted May 20, 2003 Glory may not be the worst villain ever, but there is NO WAY she is the best. The way Angelus showed Giles that Jenny was dead trumps ANYTHING Glory did. T-minus 4:30 until the finale. The Providence Journal has a good story on the show today.
