Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 NWA:TNA is apparently interested in bringing in Kenny and Jake, the two male finalists from Tough Enough 2. David Young, who made a few early TNA appearances in a forgettable storyline with manager "Bobcat" is signed to the Japanese Zero One promotion, but still has a couple of dates left on his TNA contract. TNA officials are holding off on bringing Young back in for a while, with the hopes that fans forget that he was once managed by Bobcat. TNA has expressed interested in adding a bunch of new names to the X Division. Those mentioned include: American Dragon, Xavier, C.M. Punk, Colt Cabana and Ace Steel. Air Paris, who teamed with AJ Styles in the dying days of WCW, has been mentioned for an NWA:TNA appearance, but has some heat with Bill Behrens about his conditioning and propencity to blow up during longer matches.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 Few names on that list do a thing for me... ...except American Dragon. He fricking rules, and I would kill babies to see him in NWA TNA.
EL DANDY~! Posted September 19, 2002 Report Posted September 19, 2002 IF Dragon signs... Dragon vs. Low Ki vs. Daniels...I WANNA REMATCH, BAY-BEE!!!!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 19, 2002 Report Posted September 19, 2002 Well, Steel and Punk were on today. They could go somewhere if given direction.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 19, 2002 Report Posted September 19, 2002 So could Rave and Wyld. I'd like to see some more of them all...throw them in with the Maximos and the Elvises. Make me care about the tag division...

I haven't been watching the shows (no cable) but I've been reading along the whole time and I have no idea what the "Bobcat" angle was at all.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 19, 2002 Report Posted September 19, 2002 Miss Bobcat was his manager, and she would spend the whole match flirting with everyone in sight. It was just a distraction from the match.

Nobody remembers freakin' Bobcat, she was just Dropped Angle #47. David was there tonight, yet did nothing on the show. That's putting it mildly. Paris had a propencity to blow up in the first thirty seconds in the last time or two he showed up in Wildside, plus he's been on a string of no-shows which reaches epic proportions.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hey, does anyone remember Cheex????
Guest Dillon Likes Bossman Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 Dear god CheeX....
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 Was that Viscera or not, since I dont get it over here
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted September 24, 2002 Report Posted September 24, 2002 If they sign American Dragon I shall be giddy as a schoolgirl and probably willing to order more shows....the possibility of Dragon vs Ki is more then enough....
Guest Human Fly Posted September 24, 2002 Report Posted September 24, 2002 NWA:TNA is apparently interested in bringing in Kenny and Jake, the two male finalists from Tough Enough 2. Didn't they sign Pauline from TE1? Have they done anything with her? This would be good for an initial pop, but after that what? Kenny and Jake most likely are still very green. It probably wouldn't be a good idea for them to get better live on ppv every week in a company that is constantly striving to make a good impression.
