LaParkaYourCar Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Since the move discussion has been a success I thought it would be cool to compare and contrast different wrestlers' move sets to see how they add up. It's simple. Name a wrestler and list the moves that he or she uses on a regular basis or even occasionally so we can see who's stealing from who and who's got a really limited set. I'll start. Rey Mysterio Jr. West Coast Pop 619 Code Red (The Flip Under Powerbomb) Diving Hurricanerana Springboard Leg Drop Double Springboard Body Press Inverted Body Scissors into Bulldog or Armdrag Diving Sitdown Splash to a standing opponent Tope con Hilo Plancha Spinwheel Kick Dragon Screw Leg Whip Hurricanerana Top Rope Hurricanerana Romero Special If I forget some moves just tell me We can end each post with a request for someone to put together a wrestler's moveset. Let's see what Kurt Angle's full moveset is...

Guest areacode212 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 This is a good thread, especially for those of us who want to make CAWs for our wrestling video games. So...could you guys try & list Stunning Steve Austin's moveset? I'm making him in Final Fire Pro A.
Guest razazteca Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Austin Stun Gun Stunner Bow & Arrow Lou Thesz Press Elbow Drop from 2nd rope Million Dollar Dream might be missing some

cawthon777 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Chris Benoit: Top rope headbutt Crippler Crossface German suplex Belly to belly (used an overhead on Angle last night) Rolling German suplexes Chop Stiff clothesline / lariat Waistlock into a take down or suplex Dragon suplex (doesn't use it much now) Can't think of any others right now...
Guest Tod deKindes Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Genichiro Tenryu Chop Chop Chop Stall & Chop Spit Hand & Chop Kick Walk Around Chop Can you tell I'm not a fan of the guy?
Guest Tod deKindes Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 A serious one The Rock Uranage DDT Float over DDT Belly to belly Sharpshooter Figure four Spinebuster Majistrale Cradle Nip Up
Guest Dace59 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Chris Benoit: Top rope headbutt Crippler Crossface German suplex Belly to belly (used an overhead on Angle last night) Rolling German suplexes Chop Stiff clothesline / lariat Waistlock into a take down or suplex Dragon suplex (doesn't use it much now) Can't think of any others right now... If you're doing a full list from all his styles then: Figure Four Sleeper Inverted Indian Deathlock Tombstone Second Rope Tombstone Snap Suplex Rolling Snap Suplex Powerbomb Whip Powerbomb Hold Super Powerbomb Rolling Germans to Dragon Suplex Crippler Crab/ LionTamer Sucida Dive Top Rope Plancha Brainbuster Dragon Screw Crucifix Arm bar Crucifi Knee bar I'm sure there's more too. And the Rock does not do a Uranage. Look at the move in the Fire Pro Games or in Japan like Hase. It has a similar hook but nothing else, the Rock Bottom isnt even a suplex.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 http://www.angelfire.com/wrestling2/lkwres...ling/moves.html This is all you guys ever need.
Guest Dace59 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Yes, but I doubt it's complete, regularly updated, and from a breif look, it's inaccurate on a lot of move names.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 It's pretty updated, dunno about the move names. You're a smart kid, I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself. Just tryin' to help....
Guest Dace59 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 And I'm guessing it will be a lot of help to other people. Personally, I've been as fan of real life CAWs uneless you can get the moves 100%. I can figure out the moves no prob. And this is a common, but still cool topic anyway, and it's the first time I've seen mention that page in this sort of topic. And I've had the page bookmarked for a while too.
Guest Renegade Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 WM: Austin vs Rock JR: MILLION DOLLAR DREAM! I HAVENT SEEN AUSTIN USE THAT SINCE HE WAS THE RINGMASTER! Guest Dace59 Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 Quick...Axe Bomber? QUE? The Axe Bomber is a lariat with the arm at a right angle so it's in an L shape, and you hit the opp with the point of the elbow.
