Wrestler Move Sets

Recommended Posts

Since the move discussion has been a success I thought it would be cool to compare and contrast different wrestlers' move sets to see how they add up.

It's simple. Name a wrestler and list the moves that he or she uses on a regular basis or even occasionally so we can see who's stealing from who and who's got a really limited set.

I'll start.

Rey Mysterio Jr.

West Coast Pop

619

Code Red (The Flip Under Powerbomb)

Diving Hurricanerana

Springboard Leg Drop

Double Springboard Body Press

Inverted Body Scissors into Bulldog or Armdrag

Diving Sitdown Splash to a standing opponent

Tope con Hilo

Plancha

Spinwheel Kick

Dragon Screw Leg Whip

Hurricanerana

Top Rope Hurricanerana

Romero Special

If I forget some moves just tell me

We can end each post with a request for someone to put together a wrestler's moveset.

Let's see what Kurt Angle's full moveset is...

This is a good thread, especially for those of us who want to make CAWs for our wrestling video games.

So...could you guys try & list Stunning Steve Austin's moveset? I'm making him in Final Fire Pro A.

If you're doing a full list from all his styles then:

Figure Four Sleeper

Inverted Indian Deathlock

Tombstone

Second Rope Tombstone

Snap Suplex

Rolling Snap Suplex

Powerbomb Whip

Powerbomb Hold

Super Powerbomb

Rolling Germans to Dragon Suplex

Crippler Crab/ LionTamer

Sucida Dive

Top Rope Plancha

Brainbuster

Dragon Screw

Crucifix Arm bar

Crucifi Knee bar

I'm sure there's more too.

And the Rock does not do a Uranage. Look at the move in the Fire Pro Games or in Japan like Hase. It has a similar hook but nothing else, the Rock Bottom isnt even a suplex.

Yes, but I doubt it's complete, regularly updated, and from a breif look, it's inaccurate on a lot of move names.

It's pretty updated, dunno about the move names. You're a smart kid, I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself. Just tryin' to help....

And I'm guessing it will be a lot of help to other people.

Personally, I've been as fan of real life CAWs uneless you can get the moves 100%.

I can figure out the moves no prob.

And this is a common, but still cool topic anyway, and it's the first time I've seen mention that page in this sort of topic. And I've had the page bookmarked for a while too.

For Jamie Noble, I have never seen him do a Tiger Driver 91.

Anyway, Bobby Eaton, who had the BIGGEST move set in the US in the 1980's:

Ground-

Elbow Drop

Vertical Suplex

Swinging Neckbreaker

Running Bulldog

Butterfly Suplex

Snap Suplex (I have seen him do this once)

Backdrop Suplex

Running Lariet

Back Running Elbow

Back breaker

Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker

Flying- (all from top rope)

Leg Drop

Rolling Knee

Elbow

Rocket Launcher

Irish Whip with an elbow into th eperson

Dropkick

Not to mention the various tag team moves he had with Lane and Condrey.

Quick...Axe Bomber? QUE?

The Axe Bomber is a lariat with the arm at a right angle so it's in an L shape, and you hit the opp with the point of the elbow.
