So, anyone got anything less than ***** for Misawa/Kobashi vs. Kawada/Taue 6/9/95?

Many people think the Rey/Eddy match HH97 was *****.

 

Thats probably the only NA match I've seen practically everyone praise.

I never heard a bad word for Flair vs Steamboat Clash VI and Flair vs Steamboat Wrestlewar. Nor did I hear a bad word for the Benoit/Malenko vs Flock match. Also Flair vs Windham on Worldwide.

Which Flair/Windham match are you guys discusing? Dates? Anyone?

 

Saw Flair/Windham from Crocket Cup '87. Great, great match, from what I remember. I'd have to watch it again to see what I'd rate it, but it seemed in the ****1/4 star range.

 

Benoit/Malenko vs. Raven/Saturn isn't *****. I love that match to death, and it's easilly the last great tag to happen in the US that I've seen, but it's more around ****1/4-1/2, in my opinion.

 

And, currently, I'm of the opinion that Rey/Eddy is *****. That might change, though.

Flair vs. Windham from Worldwide. It was 45 minutes and the whole damn show. Sometime in 1987 and hard to find, but I know it's on a few Flair comps floating around.

There is only one match that I've seen a universal ***** rating for and that's Tamura vs. Kohsaka 6/27/98. The thing is, not that many people have actually seen the match. I hope to join the ***** club when I see it in a few days.

The Flair/Windham match that was on Worldwide I have on a video called Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Vol. #2 Ric Flair Diamonds are Forever. This was released in 1998.

All the Windham v Flair matches were very good.

 

I feel that Windham got more out of Flair than Steamboat did 2 yrs later.
