So because Bubba has a match, you won't get the whole ppv? Talk about hatred...

Because Bubba will be getting a title shot at HHH and his fake title...

while RVD gets pushed back down to a guy who has been jobbing to Rico and Jericho.

The way I see it is that if HHH goes against Bubba, that is only one bad match rather than both of them ruining two matches...

2 reasons why I'm not ordering No Mercy..

RVD isn't going to have a ****-***** match anyway...

at this point I have been reduced to an RVD mark who is just completely beaten down by false hope provided by the company every few months...

who just WANTS to see his favorite win the match he is supposed to.

I want RVD to win in a match against HHH at a big ppv, like Survivor Series. Don't waste the victory at a nothing ppv that will be easily forgotten.

I disagree.

The fact that HHH is going to take time away from the RVD feud to beat Bubba is a joke in and of itself.

It doesn't allow RVD the chance to get back at HHH for A: Costing him the IC title and B: Costing him the (fake) World title.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

HHH is a no-jobbing piece of shit.

If you can get a win over him in the parking lot you fucking take it.

Point taken. I just wish that if HHH actually jobbed to RVD, it would be remembered...not at a ppv in which you can't even remember the name to in 2 years.

Eh. As I've said..I'm not ordering PPV's anymore if useless peices of crap (Lesnar, HHH, Taker, Bubba) are going to be main eventing. It's just not worth the cash..and the dissapointment. As a wrestling fan..I feel like the horse being led around that never gets the carrot. My favorites sit and rot, while undeserving "talents" get belts, pushes, and loads of airtime.

I may just be one person, but it's still $35. And I won't pay for another live event, either. I could've went to Raw this Monday..and I chose not to. I'm not spending cash on a subpar product. They either shape up, or no cash.

Well on Smackdown the first hour ME, and the ME were wrestled by Angle, Benoit, Rey, Edge, and Eddy....that could be a good sign. Things are looking pretty grim on the Raw side though...

Eddie Guerrero will be off until Tuesday in Lafayette to allow him to get over a sinus infection. Much needed time off for this outstanding talent.

There is something strangely funny about that. After all the amazing matches he's had, the sick bumps, THAT'S what gets him time off?

Ultimo Dragon in WWE? Goooooooo! Having said that, this is Jim Ross we're talking about. The same Jim Ross that predicted that Benoit would get a big push upon return, the BBQ sauce would be out by late 1999, HHH is the best in the business and that Jericho means something to the company. I'll believe this shit when I sees it.

You know, and this isn't a joke, if I was an agent, and I knew of Eddy's past, and I also knew he had a sinus infection and would be taking hard bumps, I would nix or tone down the match. You don't need Eddy in rehab again, espescially now.

Going back to the whole HHH thing...

When was the last time that HHH cleanly jobbed to a then-non-established star? I know he jobbed the Undisputed title to Hogan...but before then, I hope it wasn't Jeff Hardy's phantom reign...Oh man, it was. Oh, and I think HHH would have found a way to NOT job out to the Candians in the "Ow My Quad" match.

When was the last time anyone did a meaningfull job to anyone? The only guys who job cleanly these days have no credibility.

Meaningfull jobs don't exist in the WWE. It's part of their "no one can ever lose credibility, so therefore no one can ever have any to begin with" campain to ruin wrestling and see how quickly they can go out of business. The MchMahons are going to sell short on all their stocks right before it happens. Triple H told me so.

I am absolutly salivating at the thought of Ultimo Dragon in the company. He would play a great heel foil to Rey Mysterio.

So whats this; Spanky, Dragon, other Cruisers being looked at while Stasiak, Awesome, and Horace being cut - that just RULES.

Awesome was cut?

Yeah, he was.

And I like Spanky quite a bit, as far as Indy workers go, but again, the WWE couldn't put together a good Cruiser division if their life depended on it. Then again, why bother bringing up '97 when most people can hardly remember last year, right?

I'm jumping WAAAAAAAY a head of myself here. If Vince did bring back ECW on late Saturday nights, he should also bring back the smaller Rings with the Cables so the Cruisers could work more their Style. Ultimo & Rey in a small ring? ::Drools::

JR was right about Oklahoma

The WWE could put together a good cruiserweight division. It's really a matter of if they want to put the effort into it.

"UNFORGIVEN had its moments. Loved the overall effort of the talent. The live audience in Los Angeles was super. The catering was good and the weather was hot. "

JR, when you're reduced to praising the fucking catering at a PPV, your promotion is in real trouble.

On the ultimo dragon topic, does anyone else fear that his comeback could be a let down, as far as his injury is concerned. Hes been out for so long, that the injury must have been very serious. Therefore, it could seriously affect his in ring ability!

Look at HHH, hes not been the same in ring since hes injury! The same could happen to ultimo!

We could be seeing a flair type spell in the wwe. He could come back and just destroy the legacy he has made for himself. The thing is with ultimo, it wouldnt stop with his name. If he comes back and isnt the star he was, it could cast a shadow over his Toryumon promotion as well!

Do you even know what the injury was? If not, a WCW doctor botched an arm surgery and forced him into retirement.

Ultimo has nothing left to prove by doing a WWE run. If he wants to make a new star, he can put over CIMA or Tokyo or Millano Collection AT on a Toryumon tour. But he's got nothing to gain in the WWE but money.

We had a productive meeting with the Ultimate Dragon in Anaheim Monday afternoon. He was an amazing cruiserweight before he was injured while working for WCW in Atlanta and is just beginning to get back in the ring after several years, while he has attempted to recover from a reported blotched arm surgery. He is several months away from being ready to debut in WWE, but we hope to do business with him in 2003. He was a pleasure to speak with and is a class act.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dragon will get NO respect from these Puro-hating WWE bastards! I can't believe in one thread you all bash WWE for wanting the cruisers to slow down & use less high spots and work "WWE style", yet you "salivate" at the thought of Dragon coming in.. yet he's gonna have to work "WWE style" as well.

I was aware of what his injury was, but thanks for showing us all that you do to, and i never said he had anything to prove by doing a wwe run.

Its clear by the reaction fo people in this forum, that he has a great legacy/reputation. I simply meant that if he makes a come back and is only a shadow of his former self (due to the injury), then he could end up pissing away his legacy in the same way that Ric Flair is currently doing so.

The following of Toryumon in the U.S. could also dwindle, if fans most prominent memory of "Japanese" wrestling and wrestlers, is a ring rusty and passed his best Ultimo Dragon!

Rick Flair has been pissing on his legacy since '94, and are you vain and delusional on purpose, or is this just the "in thing" to do?

You're from the UK, right? Even knowing that, your notion that Ultimo putting in shitty performances in the WWE is going to hurt Toryumon's "following" in the US is on the more ludicrous side of things I've ever heard on this board. There is no following, just a few tape traiders who buy their shows every once in a while, and he doesn't get any money from them, either.

The fact that people here like him speaks nothing of him having a legacy, concidering most are limited to only seeing his WCW run, which was a very small portion of a much larger career. Again, this message board and the people on it have nothing to do with how Ultimo decides to do business.

Its true the WWE doesn't know how to book the Cruiserweight divison with two hands and a flash light, they get Dean Malenko, or Terry Taylor if they ever rehire that Yo-yo too Book the Cruiserweight matches it wouldn't matter because Vinnie Mac and His Big Hoss Fixtation would fudge the booking, thats why we get the Alberts vs Kidmans, and Awesomes vs Funakis. Noble, and Tajiri vs Billy n Chuck. All that does is cause the Cruiserweight division to Disintergrate. Rey was brought in most of us thoughts to kickstart the Cruiserweights but in a Recent interview on WWE.com, rey says he wants to go for the World title.. OMG! we won't be seeing him vs Noble then. or any Cruiserweight in a strong angle.
