Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted October 3, 2002 Definately the Midnight Express. They worked so well as a team and adding Cornette to the mix just made them even more over as heels. I think the Fantastics were too small and were in the shadows of the Rock N Roll Express. I remember going to a house show back in the 80's where the Midnights were getting cheered and the Fantastics getting booed. It was so crazy that Jim Cornette mentioned it on the next Saturday tv show, and this was a California crowd, not really known for being a hot NWA stop. I never cared much for the pedestrian Condrey and sticking him with the equaling boring and adaquete Randy Rose made one realize how much Eaton really carried him. Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted October 4, 2002 The great Bobby Eaton,Stan Lane and Jim Cornette=greatest team ever for the whole package......matches and Cornette's promo skills.Although Dennis Condrey is kinda underrated. Rock n Rolls are the best babyface team ever though. Great teamwork,quick pace, and sold like crazy.
