DC/Nothern VA is probably "in the middle" for the majority of the people who have been talking about this so far, which is why I went with that. Who's actually interested in doing this? Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Back when I had the old Aries station wagon(named the Silver Spoon, and the irony was dripping off the name if you saw it or know what kind of car I'm talking about), I was pretty cool with people and the radio, but that was all I had. But to be honest, I'm already a control freak with this car, and I don't see that trend stopping when I actually start driving it. Hell, the security system is going to be so my loser uncle doesn't try to take it out and impress his singles line ho's, not to avert it being stolen, although it might as well be the same thing. That said, I see this happening: We'll start out with me being cool with your selections, then I'll somehow coerce you into giving some Digweed or Oakenfold a shot. You'll like it, and then I'll make another suggestion and, your interest piqued at this point, go along with it. Then it will be irreversible. I see us pulling into DC with the top down and blasting "Heaven Scent" for the entire greater DC area to hear, and all of us dancing like mad. Who's shorter between you two? He goes in the back. Crap! I forgot about the other NC peeps. Who else represents the NC up in here and wants to go on a phizat ride with my crew? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge EDIT: Folk in Virginia also, any here? Yeah, I'm 6'10". ::whistles innocently:: And Kinetic, according to online resources, Charleston, SC to the Winston-Salem area in NC would take upwards of six hours. Tack on another five-or-so hours to get the D.C. area, and that means I'll have been on the road for 16 hours, necessitating drugs and/or alcohol to keep to keep me from going stir crazy. So, I see little problem in picking up Kinetic, but if the BLACK MANTA~! were to make any more pick ups, it would have to be in town we would be passing through, anyway. The greater Raleigh area is where I'm actually going to be living. Not sure how that affects things, as far as time and distance go. EDIT: I looked it up. Raleigh is about 280 miles from Charleston.
