Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'll need to make sure that I bring my copy of My Aim is True on the trip with me. Not for any particular reason, mind you, but because having such a wonderful album that is not overrated in any way, shape, or form around just makes me feel better about myself. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS A MINDLESS SHEEP!
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Um, you might annoy THEM(meaning everyone but me) with NFG and Michelle Branch, but I know I'll annoy EVERYONE with YATTA~! Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 7, 2002 NFG = New Found Glory? If so, I'd say that would do more damage than YATTA could ever dream of doing.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 7, 2002 My Aim is True is an incredible album and if the board would actually let me post my thoughts on it, which it has yet to do after TWELVE attempts, I'd tell you why.
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Write about it on the site.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Pesky mainstream haters. Patrick Spoon = loves all streams! Anyways, I guess I'll have to weather a debate over said album all the way to DC. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Write about it on the site. What she said. And This Year's Model so totally smokes My Aim is True. Believe that.

Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge I've never actually heard any Yatta, so I reserve judgement.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 How's about we just agree to listen to Bedrock on the way to DC? Inoffensive and beautiful Trance from John Digweed!! Sheesh, Alina and I may need to get along out of nessescity. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 YATTA~! is a song by a Japanese boy band that was manufactured to get people's minds off of the recession. I'll find a link for you. It's genius, trust me. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge EDIT: Don't say a word until you watch the video and absorb it fully.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'll listen to whatever, Kotz--I have expressed a certain fondness for Kylie's music in the past.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 7, 2002 What I tried to say thirteen fucking times was that my preference lies with My Aim is True because it sounds quite a bit more spontaneous and less second-guessed. The versions of "No Action" and "Living in Paradise" on the bonus disc of MAiT should be evidence enough of that, as they're both vastly superior to the proper album versions. Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Okay, about DC and the nightlife involved. I've been up there twice, both times I've made the trip myself, but I've got friends up there *the swing dance community tends to be very open, so I just went to dances and shiz down there* In terms of nightlife, since you've got George Washington right there, nightlife's pretty happening. Crime isn't bad in the Capital area proper, as I walked and took the Metro in and out both times I was there....Pretty swank if you ask me. I've stayed at UMD and outside at a hotel near Annapolis *bout 89 a night*, for cost One thing I'd recommend is walking the capital at night, pretty neat visuals...plus the clubs don't start bopping till 11 or so, moreso 12. They are a bit pricey, but the cheaper ones near the college are better anyways, more our crowd. I'd recommend that everyone get up there say Friday night, we chill out, drizzank in the hizztel, go out to DC on saturday, have some fun down there, and then head off sunday. But then again, thats just me. If anyone wants to talk about this...IM me foolz, Im on a permanent lan, AIM: StephenJosephP peace yall I got a hot date with my bed...it misses me. Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 You, my friend, have taken it to a new level. Drizzank in the hizztel... Damn. I can't even express the awesome application of the "iz" in a word there. Your plan sounds good. Same here about the Metro, I love it. Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'll be sore as hell on Sunday morning, but that is immaterial. Someone else can drive if my legs are too useless, but to get the control of BLACK MANTA~! would mean my legs are pretty damn sore. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'm with Kinetic (on THIS matter, anyway). Popick's idea is boss. And if we're leaving the Sunday after Christmas, we'll be leaving on my birthday. The Manta with have to stop at some strip bar along I-95 that day.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Theres one on 95 in North Carolina. You see the ads for it a lot. I dont know how good it is or anything though..
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Yeah, on I-95 they advertise for strip bars and all kinds of adult stores hundreds of miles in advance. Did you ever watch YATTA~! ? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Im glad I dont have speakers right now, the video was terrifying enough..
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Aww, the song is the best part!! Did you sing along and do the dance too? I'm starting to think this may work to motivate people not to ride with me up to the ESTABLISHED POSTERS~! gathering. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I could probably deal with the song, but the video...Im not clicking that link again..
Guest treble charged Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'm SO glad I decided to watch that video before going to bed. I REALLY didn't want to sleep tonight (or for the rest of my life, for that matter).
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 7, 2002 It isn't THAT disturbing, it's just Japanese. Anyways, I think I'll make a mix for the trip. MIXAROONIE X: THE ESTABLISHED POSTERS~! It'll have all of my mixable favorites on there! Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest treble charged Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I will admit that the tune is catchy, but the VIDEO. I could have lived without EVER seeing that.
