Before Tracy can speak, Undertaker's music hits and he walks to the ring and threatens to hit her. Tracy gets on the mic. Marc how he could lie to me, sleep with me, now I find out you are married. And your wife is pregnant. You are a bastard. I never cared who you were. I never watched wrestling. I even promised you I would never take our relationship public. Now I see why. Sara, your husband lied to me just like he is lying to you. I wonder how many other people you have slept with Marc?

 

Undertaker snatches the mic. Listen lady, I have no idea who you are. Tracy leaves the ring and walks to the back with Lesnar and Heyman.

match quality is lacking, but good benoit/angle buildup, and it continues to be the skeleton around which the rest of the show is built.

 

could they really be building towards...eddy/chavo v. angle/benoit at the ppv? i think i'd piss myself if that happened.

Stephanie says that Noble got mad and left, which results in Tajiri not having a partner tonight against Edge and Mysterio. Therefor, she is making Lesnar the partner of Tajiri. Stephanie says if Undertaker interferes then he will not face Brock in the Hell in a Cell.

Tazz introduces the competitors. Torrie comes out first in a white robe. Dawn Marie comes out next wearing a black robe. Dawn takes off her robe first and reveals purple garter lingerie. Torrie takes her robe off and reveals a white one piece bathing suit cut up the middle. The fans cheer louder for Torrie so she is the winner.

 

Backstage, Lesnar asks Heyman for his phone. Lesnar calls Sara to see if she is ok. Sara says she does not know who he is. Lesnar says he can't believe she does not know his voice by now, it's Brock Lesnar. Sara hangs up.

First Round Tag Title Tournament

Tajiri and Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs Edge and Rey Mysterio

Edge hit Tajiri with a spear for the pin. After the match Lesnar suplexed Edge on the floor, threw Rey back into the ring, and F5's Tajiri. Undertaker enters the ring and nails Lesnar in the face with his cast. Lesnar and Heyman make a quick exit. Undertaker raises Edge's hand at the top of the stage.

looks like they're turning benoit & angle into tweeners, with benoit having more sympathetic babyface leanings.

 

so...team 'god' is about to win over team 'dios y sobrino', benoit is making the winning pin/submission, when angle breaks it up because HE wants to be the one that wins the match. benoit gets pissed & they brawl, eddie & chavo cheat to get the pin on benoit, & angle beats on benoit while he's down for losing the match.
