If they wanted him to be chapion, he would be champion this year, where they have had SIX bad champs. Since they didn't turn to him to stop the bleeding, they obviously don't want him to be champ.

I think the only reason Brock is getting this push is to get Angle the title and give Brock the rub. I think Crips is interfering with the execution of the original plan. Lesnar v Angle is a VERY intriguing match to non smarks, and NON marks Vince hopes to make marks. Now it may well be crap in reality who knows? I think that was his original vision though.

I mean, I *get* why - they were all pushed and elevated at the same time - but Angle isn't doomed like Benoit and Jericho are. Angle is a Wwf boy. For that he will always get pushed. He will get to the top - not a question of if - just a question of when. Rookie= someone who debuts on television and is a relative unknown.

Batista Rico Cena Jamal Rosie Sean O'Haire/Mark Jindrak I wouldn't particularly want any of them (Maybe Rico) pushed anywhere, but they are all better than Brock in one way or another.

A champ should have to be over, and show some sort of ability. If not technical (Angle, Benoit), then they'd better be either a good brawler (Austin 98'ish or so), high-flier (RVD), or a combination (Eddy) . Brock wasn't exactly what the fans were clamoring to see. Sure, there was that reaction at Summerslam..but it's just a fluke. (Almost makes me wonder how many smarks were IN that crowd, too..) Brock didn't get the belt because of his yet-unseen "ability". He got it because he was built like a roided monster. That's it.

Thats what the WWE needed at that point in time apparently, Austin on the verge disappearing Rock was gone, HHH was just getting the handle of wrestling again. Hogan was limping around... Rick Flair was still trying to wrestle. Jericho and Cena feud.... WOW ANd out of the madness...the chaos.... the MASTER of Ratings appeared ...DA Man Brock Berg DAAA DAAAA DAAAAAAAAAA DADDDADADAD DAAAA DA DA DAAAAAA He was too save the WWE.... Yea...Ok Benoit, Guerrero, Angle, Jericho.... hell Anyone in the WWE couldn't save the WWE...so they brought in Brock??? Oye. What that does is belittle the roster and people who manage to claw their way up the ranks got pushed aside to give Brock the goldberg like push. I defy anyone to tell me he deserves it.

I say turn Angle face. Last three SmackDown's he's reportedly had the loudest pops, or close to it. Just keep in mind what people like rather than forcing them to accept new traits, while also making him somewhat of a relatable and sympathetic character. Something they failed to do, or ground their basings on, the first time around.
