Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I can see HHH, Taker, Rock, retired and gone. RVD Benoit Angle and Edge main eventing. Matt hardy being held back by the ceiling of amazing glass. Aj Styles as CW champ, with competition from all the regulars and Low-ki. Steph gone from writitng, probably married to HHH squeezing out kids. Jeff Hardy, dead. So what are your predictions for 5 years from now?
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted October 16, 2002 WW(E)F 5 years from now Dead.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted October 16, 2002 If they keep on their same track, I agree that it could very well be dead in five years. I mean, really, it's getting very very bad. Hell, I haven't even had an erge to post here talking about it for the past few weeks.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 16, 2002 WWE will probably have its shows on its own seperate TV Channel which will also air other WWE Themed shows.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Ever see Tetsuo at the end of Akira? That is where HHH will be... RVD SHOULD be World Champ, having great matches with Benoit, Angle, Jericho, Guerrero, Edge, and Brcok. UT, Hogan, Rocky, gone. AJ Styles defeats Crash in a match to hold the rights to the Styles Clash. I love it...
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I can see HHH, Taker, Rock, retired and gone. I seriously think HHH will be around in his 50's. He'll probably be crippled, but he'll be out there "uh"ing like always. I don't think WWF will die, but they will slowly dip way down in popularity before they get lucky with another gimmick wrestler.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Heh, the wrestling channel would probably be Triple H making Jericho gay jokes for an entire three hour block. I can truthfully see Jeff Hardy dead in five years...and Matt leaving in grief as a result of it.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 16, 2002 HHH and Undertaker will still be main eventers along with Randy Orton and John Cena. Kane will be gone. RVD, Benoit, Eddy, and Angle will still be fighting for a top spot. The CW title will no longer exist. The split will be dead. WWE will have cut 50% of its roster. Jim Johnston will go back to making theme music, since they won't be able to pay licensing fees for real music. There is really no way to tell what will happen truthfully though. Who knew in 1997 that WCW would be dead and WWE would hit a huge boom and then go into a decline again?
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 16, 2002 By then, Hogan, the Undertaker, Flair, Nash, and the rest of the old timers will have retired and moved on, leaving way for the up and coming superstars like Edge, Mysterio, etc. Oh, and HHH will probably still be main eventing, claiming that he is the game and he is that damn good. Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I can see HHH, Taker, Rock, retired and gone. Yeah, just like in '93 how I thought Hogan would be gone by '95.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted October 16, 2002 World Title scene: Brock, John Cena, Edge, Randy Orton. IC title (It will be back): Kurt Angle, chris benoit, Eddy Guerero, Chris Jericho, booker T (None of them ever get the promised push)
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Hogan will never go away forever. Neither will Flair. Taker will probably retire for good.. Rock will be back when he realizes he isnt the next big Action Superstar.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Booker T will be retired. He has said he only wants to wrestle a couple more years and then retire.
Guest jester Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Yep, Taker will still be there. Foley is the only successful wrestler who walked away. And even so, who would be all that surprised if he one day came back. Face it. Hogan and Taker are not leaving until they're dead. edit: or unless Vince finally gets fed up with them. Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I think the wrestlers will travel to the ring on hover boards. Vince will have gone back in time to collect some of the greatest past legends. Wrestlemania 23 held on the moon. Wrestlers can teleport from the ring to backstage via the Titan-porter. RVD will go into the future with Bill Alfonso (Who has since become a doctor and so is now called "Doc"), and will stop his kids from turning out bad. HHH will be in court with his farther-in-law Vince for ownership of WWZ (They changed name again) Hopefully Jeff won't die from ladder bump/botched move/painkillers/driving too fast/ or body paint poisoning. Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Raven: WWF Commentator along side Good 'Ol JR(Jake Roberts) and they spend the whole time mocking the crap and not mocking the good stuff
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Jake Roberts? Hell, it wouldn't shock me if Jake was also dead by then.
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 RVD will go into the future with Bill Alfonso (Who has since become a doctor and so is now called "Doc"), and will stop his kids from turning out bad. Hopefully, Austin will have wandered back in by that point. I think Rock will perhaps have either phased himself out and be a full on movie star, or trying to be. Hopefully, they'll be enjoying another boom, fueled by great technical/psychological wrestling. But probably simmering in a stew of suck. SP
Guest CA$H MONEY Report post Posted October 16, 2002 In 5 years: If they stay on the same track. HHH will declare himself king of the WWE by burying everyone. Steph will pull what her dad did to his dad and take control of the WWE away from him. She'll fire anyone who does not side with her and HHH. HHH will then hire only those wrestlers who are his friends or become his friends. The WWE will fizzle out cause fans don't want to see the HHH show.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted October 16, 2002 WW(E)F 5 years from now Dead. Dead as of 3 years ago.
Guest edotherocket Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I think if Jeff Hardy dies, Matt would get a push.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted October 16, 2002 ...the "guilt" push? Man that is like that movie Dead Man On Campus.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Seriously, here is what I would like to see happen in 5 years: The WWE achieving good ratings and giving us superb storylines. Someone besides HHH or the Undertaker in the main event, someone like Mysterio or Edge or even RVD. Hogan, the Undertaker, and Flair retired by that point. Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Yeah, just like in '93 how I thought Hogan would be gone by '95. At the end of the world, only Cher, Keith Richards, and Hulk Hogan will be left standing, along with alll the cockroaches.
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted October 16, 2002 From next year to 5 years from now the WWE main event scene will consist of Triple H and Kevin Nash trading the World Title back and forth. Randy Orton will also be a main eventer.
