Guest Angle-plex Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 WWE creative has crafted a long term plan to bring the Four Horsemen to Raw. As of now, the plan is to have Triple H as the leader (Flair role), with Flair as the elder statesman (combo of Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon). In addition, WWE would add Randy Orton after he turns full heel (in the Barry Windham role) and Batista (in the bruiser/enforcer role of Arn Anderson). No word on the timing of the angle, or if Arn Anderson would be involved with the new Horsemen. And with everything in WWE, it could change at any time. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter ===================================================== I know, I can't believe the RAW "creative" team actually has a long term plan either.
Guest NoCalMike Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Ermmm, please god NO.....the WWE will fuck it up, are there any doubts?? And that is only assuming Vince isn't just bringing the horsemen back to drag another non-WWE-entity through the mud before he makes it disapear before anyone cares.
Guest razazteca Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 but Randy Ortan is on the injuried reserve and nobody gives a damn about him one way or another. Ortan only made that Brett Hart comment just to quiet the Canadian crowd. Ortan = Bawd Gawd its the return of the Paul Roma Horseman
Guest the 1inch punch Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Hey, at least it wont be Batista doing the run in on Sunday in the LAME/kane match Its gonna be Sickboy

I'd mark like a mother-fucker.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 This would only work on Smackdown. Gerwitz probably doesn't even know who the 4 horsemen are.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 If worked right, that could work out. Of course, it would make HHH seem like God... but apparently we can't change that so we just have to deal with it. Then again, it's the WWE, so they'll fuck it up...
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 It will be worse than the return of the Paul Roma Horsemen, because you will have two guys like that, along with HHH (Enough is said about him), and Flair (Ditto).
Guest Kamui Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Geez, lighten the fuck up people. Can't you wait until it actually fails before you start bitching about it? I think Orton was kinda funny in the RAW interview- he's good at the entire reverse-heel-turn-thing. Batista is a good enforcer, HHH has the Cocky Heel down, and Flair is Flair. Give it a chance before you condemn it. -Duo
Guest razazteca Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I have not seen enough of Bautista but the roid freak on Ico Pro looks like he is taking Sid Justice's spot.
Guest Human Fly Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 It should work, but they should call it something different. The 4 Horseman without Flair as the focal point isn't the 4 Horseman. That isn't a viable option though so they should come up with a new name.
Guest razazteca Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Geez, lighten the fuck up people. Can't you wait until it actually fails before you start bitching about it? but all that smarks do is complain about everything and anything.....why else join a message board?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 "Geez, lighten the fuck up people. Can't you wait until it actually fails before you start bitching about it?" And with every proposed angle someone says this. And when every angle begins...that person is proven wrong...every time. HHH sucks...and the horsemen angle just gives him a further excuse to hold the title for longer.
Guest Redhawk Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I'm not saying that a HHH/Flair/Orton/Batista heel stable can't work...but why do they need to call them the Four Horsemen? The only link whatsoever to the original Horsemen is Flair, and if this stable lasts longer than a year, Flair might be gone by then. With every incarnation of other famous stables -- like D-X and the NWO -- there either wasn't a large gap of time in between incarnations, or there were at least two solid links to the original group. The Horsemen haven't been around since, like, 1998. I wouldn't mind so much if Benoit were a member of this new group, since he would be another link to the past. But to do that they'd have to end the roster split, and they won't be doing that for a while. would it be so hard for WWE to think of a different name for this stable?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 But nostalgia = ratings!!! is anyone else less than excited about seeing RVD and Booker being punked out by HHH, Bautista, and Randy Orton?
Guest NoCalMike Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 But nostalgia = ratings! Yah, worked for Hogan for about 2 weeks.
Guest NoCalMike Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Another thing this Horsemen idea would do is give Flair another reason to be there, and Triple H another reason to be the #1 heel, I don't like EITHER outcome, so my vote is NAY!
Guest jester Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Geez, lighten the fuck up people. Can't you wait until it actually fails before you start bitching about it? Were you the person who said this when we were trashing the Kane murder angle before the last Raw? Because someone said the EXACT same thing. And look how it turned out.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 wait, so there's NEW 4horsemen details? I never knew there were any 4horsemen details...
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 but Randy Ortan is on the injuried reserve and nobody gives a damn about him one way or another. Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 but Randy Ortan is on the injuried reserve and nobody gives a damn about him one way or another. If they are goona go this route, then Drop Orton and Put Chris "Harvard" in his place. They been going with the Flair/Triple H having "Class" and that's pretty much "Harvards" gimmick anyway. Plus, I think Chris would be a lot more over playing a Horsemen and he's really not all that bad in the ring. Not as bad as some like to say.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I like Chris Harvard's in-ring preformances better than any of the other new guys' to date. (to rip off AS, including TUW.) Why dig up the corpse of the Four Horsemen, though? It couldn't be because they can't have any good new idea..oh, wait.
Guest Redhawk Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 So are they going to give the group their own generic rock music, or will they all come out to Flair's more classy music? But HHH is the leader, so I guess they're all going to come out under darkness and strobe lights, and then four spotlights can catch them all spitting water at the same time and flexing.
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Its not really creative ...considering they are yet again just rehashing an old gimmick. Though I actually like Orton's heelness...but don't let him get near HHH
LooseCannon25 Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Yeah, and then when Triple H sees that Orton and Bautista are gaining some popularity he'll set up and angle where he turns on them and buries them both in a handicap match
