Just like the title says, Who has/had the greatest ring entrance ever? All wrestling companies are valid and one-time deals are acceptable.

MATTITUDE~! already ranks as possibly the best.

HBK an WMXII was something that I just loved when I was little.

 

These days, besides the MATTITUDE~! entrance, uhm...

 

Christian's when he first debuted it.. I think it was the 9/10 RAW last year... So great, and it somehow suited him perfectly.

 

I miss Sandman's old skool ECW entrance, where the lights would go out and the entire audience would start singing along with "Enter Sandman". There was just something special about that. Really captivating.

 

EDIT: I would just like to mention that Matt's new entrance is what got me to finally like his dumb ass. I wish my name were Matthew.

Chris Jericho's entrance on the 8/9/99 Raw is my all-time favorite.

- HBK at WM XII.....amazing, but every other time he entered the arena was also cool..

 

- Jericho's debut in the WWF, probably my biggest mark out moment ever, the pop it got from the crowd when 'JERICHO' appeared on the Titantron send chills down my spine everytime i watch it....

 

- Jericho when he was Undisputed champ, i liked how he raised his arms with both belts

 

- Taker at WM XIV was algo great with all the creaaaaaaaaatures of DA night...

 

- currently the best are Jericho's, Christian's and MATTITUDEE~!!!!

My Personal Favorites:

 

Matt Hardy's Mattitude: Obviously one of the most innovative entrances yet.

Keiji Mutoh's in his Puroresu Love era: Just really haunting haunting music and the lighting made it a sight to behold.

Sandman's "Enter Sandman": Greatest use of fan participation in an entrance ever.

 

But my hat goes to Magnum Tokyo and his really elaborate dance routine of an entrance. Damn, that's the way to come to the ring.

I loved the Brood's entrance. Its the first one I've ever seen where the wrestlers' entrance was very unique and it wasn't just for a one time deal. The pit of fire, the red colouring and them rising up is just awesome and suited there vampire gimmick perfect.

I always liked Austin's entrances at PPVs (WMXIII and SummerSlam '98) where the glass screen at the entrance would break.

 

Christian and MATTITUDE~! and Jericho's, duh.

 

Angle's pyro, music, and red-white-and-blue lights are just perfect, especially when the pyro would originally make him jump.

The Hart Foundation's In Your House 16 entrance gives me goosebumps every time and of course Sandman's classic entrance.

Sandman, simply because it what he was best at. The beer, the audience singing along. I hated it when he came in through the crowd, but you knew that the second "Enter Sandman" started, no one was sitting down.

 

New Jack's, for the same reason as Sandman's. You heard the gunshot, and you knew some poor white guy was about to die.

 

Ryuji Yamakawa of BJW fan has had some weird-ass entrances, some where he has a giant afro and dances along to "Staying Alive".

 

But I always got a kick out of Warrior's and Boss Man's where they would just sprint to the ring. That's something that no one can do anymore with the ramps. I miss that.

I always liked HHH's entrance, even when I hated him (right now, I only mildly dislike the man)

 

Matt Hardy's is cool as hell, as is Jericho's and Christian's.

 

My all time favorite is old-school Taker's entrance. The funniest was right after KOTR 98 when he added pyro to his entrance...when he raised his arms to turn the lights back on, pyro shot from the ringpost and almost hit him in the face. The look on his face was funny as hell.

Well, nothing beats The Nature Boy and the massive ammounts of women. Pick one from 1989 they all ruled.

I don't know how I forgot the Brood's entrance, especially since I'm such a CHRISTIAAAN~! mark...

 

Anyway... Vince McMahon's entrance circa 1999 wasn't impressive so much as it was comical. I miss it. Far from the greatest of all time, of course.

 

EDIT: As for one-time-only entrances, I still kinda mark for Eric Bischoff's on the 10 April 2000 "WCW relaunch". It was just.. cool.

-but especially Wrestlemania 12. I can't help but grin whenever I see him coming in on the wire over the crowd.

 

The "Here Comes The Money" entrance for Shane. Don't ask me why because it really wasn't anything flashy or great, but I loved watching Shane saunter down to the ring. Plus, when he made a surprise entrance during something, it generally meant something fun was coming.

 

Jericho's debut interrupting Rocky, and his run as Undisputed Champ.

 

Mattitude owns.

 

Angle.

 

Benoit.

 

But I do think that old school Taker had the best.

Trips at Wrestlemania XVII was pretty impressive.

Probably my favorite entrance ever. I still get goose bumps watching it on DVD. Rock's from Mania x7 was one of my favorites too...I love the camera angle showing all the camera flashes going off and getting what I call the "fly" view of the Rock coming where the camera "flys" over to the entrance.

I like The Broods entrance with the ring of fire and them levatating over it, and also the candles on the entrance way.........but the biggest mark out for an entrance ever was JEricho on 8/9/99 on his debut. I have it on Best OF Raw DVD and the amazing pop of the crowd when they saw the word Jericho on the titantron still gives me goosebumps to this day when i watch it

Undertaker's entrance at around 1996-1998 was the best of all time unquestionably. Whether he flew from the rafters on bat wings, had druids accompany him, or simply shuffled out, as soon as you hear the gong you KNEW it was Taker.

 

Bret Hart's at WM X against Owen was awesome the way the camera shows him come out is just really, really, cool.
