Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Down and Dirty card: Truth vs Hennig part 2 AJ vs. Syxx Pac part 2 Harris and Storm vs. HotShots Skipper vs. Red vs. Kid Kash vs. Joel Maximo vs. Jose Maximo Lynn vs. Siaki JJ vs. Hall Lawler vs. James Estrada vs. Ace Steel I'm feeling it tonight because TNA must have watched RAW on Monday. They also must know about the hundreds of emails that Meltzer got saying they'd never watch wrestling again. They might think this means a few more curious viewers tonight...and maybe they can get their heads out of their asses and put on a good show.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted October 23, 2002 8 matches for a two hour show...........OVERLOAD. At least they got promise with a few good X division matches though. If Lynn-Siaki is solid I will be surprised, I'll say that much. Lawler/James, Hall/JJ, tag title match I wish would be left off the show to be honest. Hennig-Truth hopefully will be better than last week. Both guys acted like they were phoning it in or something.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 More matches means less Russoific segments. Besides...the Estrada/Steel match will go 3 or 4 minutes tops. So that shouldn't even count.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 If I were to guess at match lengths (I thikn I have a good feel for this now): Truth vs Hennig part 2 (10 minutes) AJ vs. Syxx Pac part 2 (15 minutes) Harris and Storm vs. HotShots (7 minutes) Skipper vs. Red vs. Kid Kash vs. Joel Maximo vs. Jose Maximo (18 minutes) Lynn vs. Siaki (10 minutes) JJ vs. Hall (8 minutes) Lawler vs. James (6 minutes of pain) Estrada vs. Ace Steel (4 minutes) That's only 78 minutes out of 120. Leaves all the time they need for the little interviews and segments between matches. I rather like when they load up on matches, as my favorite shows are the ones that just go match -short segment- match- short segment- match...and so on. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted October 23, 2002 You think Stevens will get some type of reprimanding from TNA because of his WWE appearance? I don't think they'd take it too kindly that a member of their latest "heel team with a push" appeared as a jobber on the Saturday show.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 I don't think he will. You can't give people an open door policy and then get mad when they take a shot on national TV. Besides...if it was important enough to TNA they would have signed him to a contract like the top guys.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 W00T~! at a couple of things...most importantly, the SAT splitting up. THAT will be a little bit of cool thing to watch. And I am hoping AJ vs. Syxx-Pac don't suck. Yay.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted October 23, 2002 If Waltman-Styles is anything like last week, it certainly won't be bad. Hope they work on a better finish, thats all I ask.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Less than 30 minutes to go. Will Russo try to top the HHH fucking the dead angle from RAW to try and regain his place as worst angle writer ever? Here's my preview for those to lazy to look down the page: Preview
Guest RedJed Report post Posted October 23, 2002 A couple of wishes for tonight..... -X Division action is back to being more solid than it's been the past few weeks. Hope the 5 way is a really standout match. -NO Harris brothers........including enough of the security breakups during almost every segment. -Wouldn't mind Mr. Wrestling III being unmasked. -Want to hear more about what they have planned with that "Evil Returns" promo from last week. -Hope the really fat ugly bitch that is always in the front row during the shows isn't there tonight, she annoys me with her hyperactive antics. I'm sure most of you who watch the shows regularly know who I mean
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Well...the evil guy returns next week...so I'd guess they'll show another promo video after the show.
