The Emerald Frusion (Pumphandle Cradle one for me) is just a back bump. It was a head bump about once. Due to Misawa's age, he does it fast and easy as a back bump. I'll have mine in the same way. I should note it down.

If i scrape the Avalanche Brainbuster, probably stick the Minoru Speical in there instead.

It would be Hammerlock slam.

Also called a Chicken Wing Slam (C.W. Anderson)

I'm going now. Back tomorrow morning (UK time)

Yeah, that'd be a better choice. Plus, Tom Flesher uses the Avalanche Brainbuster as his finisher in the SWF. WFers don't usually take well to people in the JL using their finishers... :D

Yeah, if you've got something to replace it I'd appreciate it. I've been using the Boilermaker (my gimmick name for the avalanche brainbuster) ever since I started and I've spent some time building it up.

Thanks a lot, btw, for cooperating.

Booker T's use of the Rock Bottom, originally in WCW, was a blatant ripoff, because they didn't know how else to get him over.

In the WWF, as a heel, it was used deliberately to garner heat.

Remember when the Spinaroonie used to be Booker's version of the kip-up? Good times.

But I digress. Question: What's a proper term for the Shiranui?

I've got no problems with finisher duping...except I've got dibs on the Nagata Lock :D

Dace, I've always wondered who has used my finisher in the past, the "Cruel Fate".

My (Sacred's) stats are in the WF stats thread.

I use a move called the Van Slaminator (and am JL).  I have no idea if it's been used before, but have been told it's a variant of a backdrop driver.  Has it been?

Edited:

My bad, I got some names mixed up. I'am not sure of the name of the guy at the moment, but I've seen a guy use the move before in a Japanese Indy Match. It was sit out, and it's exactly how you described it. If you have the RF Video Best of Dynamite Kid it's at the end of the tape in a semi-commerical for other RF Video tapes.

Now, I'm a serious technical wrestler (being 6'9", 306, you would expect that), so you may not be able to answer this kind of technical question. I wouldn't blame you at all. Now, I do this move called The Plunge. It involves the two men standing face to face. I grab the guy around his throat, and lift him into the air, supporting him by holding his back with his free hand. After I get him up, I smash him into the mat. I'm calling it a "choke slam". I'm wondering if anyone has ever used this, or if I'm just a god amongst men when it comes to originality.

*reminds Dace that he'll be booking him in many matches in the future*

Viagra Driver, renamed into Spirit Breaker. Try finding a cooler name for THAT!

Anyways, has there ever been a move done where you start out in a DVD position only you drive him sideways? (picture this: it's like the Whiplash, only you drop him to your side, almost like an Emerald Fusion)

I forget which real wrestlers use the Pyramid Driver, Judge. I know Johnny Rotten, the Carnie That Was Not Meant To Be, used it in the SWF.

As for me, I'll stick to my Straitjacket Suplex, thankyouverymuch.

The Book End is not totally the same as the Rock Bottm.

Booker T and DDP did the Uranage type move first in WCW.

Mable in WWF

And it was invent by hase.

RVD and Eddie have two different versions of the Frog Splash.

The Origianl Version is D'lo's Low Down/CIMA's MAD Splash (It was invented by Eddie's now dead partner from thee 8's Art Barr)

Shiranui

Tiger Wall/Veritcal Tornado to Reverse Inverted DDT

(Tornado being running up and flipping off the ropes to the side ala Acid Drop, tiger wall is running right up and flipping over)

Cruel Fate = Reverse DDT (a real one, Headlock and fall fowards, the reverse motion of a DDT)

TheBostonStrangler

So funny. Looks like I'll be jobbing this year.

Anyways, has there ever been a move done where you start out in a DVD position only you drive him sideways?

You fall sideways anyawy. Into an Emerald Frusion type move, been done. It's another version of the Cave Driver (The Original goes into a Fire Thunder)

Okay, does anyone use any sort of Straitjacket Powerbomb?

Darkness Dargon, Super Crazy, TAKA, some Joshi wrestler uses one where you lock the arms behind thge back instead.

Never as a finisher, Justin Credible used it sometines in ECW.

Scotty 2 Hotty did a springboard into one as a finisher through, at one point.

Ace is your Ego Buster meant to be: Alevin's Lift/Kraliens Lift/Russian Neckdrop?

If it is, then it's a Highangle Gut wrench suplex/Gutwrench brainbuster.

If you mean a piledriver move, with the opp to the side over on shoulder (ala Dominator, but hanging down) That's the Inverse Frusion.

(Y) @ me being funny.

Seriously, however, this is very impressive. I am obviously NOT a highly technical wrestler, so I get impressed when I see someone with his incredible knowledge of wrestling.

Thank you very much.

And I'm glad i can share it and help people.

I guess it comes from being 2nd Gen, and being taughty by all the Move Smarks I know, and getting info from different people.

Hopefully, I should be coming up with some good matches.

Make some far more than just generic finisher counters could be fun.

Any more questions?

I tell you who has the greatest fantasy skills...The HVille Thugg. Now there's a technical wrestler!!

For instance...his favorite finisher is a variation of Strangler's....ummmm....what do you call it....choke slam?? HVT lifts them up by the throat, stumbles around in a circle like Big Show on drugs, and then slams them to the mat as hard as possible, despite being incredibly dizzy.

Then, of course, there is the Thugg Passion, which I actually believe is physically impossible. It's a Last Ride, except, it's reveresed and slammed face first. That's pretty straight forward...now...the impossible part is the set up. Start in a inverted DDT position...reach down and with a hand under the viticms back (since he's facing the sky)....flip the victim to your chest (bringing his legs up over his head, flipping his head up, and ending up with his back against your abdomen while still off the ground). Then, magically, while holding the victim against your body, you grab the waist of his pants, hoist him up, and slam him down like a Last Ride, face first of course.

Now, I stopped using it so much because of the hard set up and the fact that the move would be near impossible to execute with that set up...

The question to the guru is...have you seen the move done this way before, and/or is the move as impossible to execute with that set up as I think it is.

If you wanna check the desc, it should still be under the stats in the WF board, under HVilleThugg. it should still be there even though I retired a while ago.

Da "greatest of all time with an impossible finisher" H

That set up has been done. Generally as a gutwrench. Or from an Inverted Standing Headscissors, with them face up between your legs.

Your way, with a small enough guy it can be done.

Hard, but it's been done.

An easier set up would be a shoulder mount/Electric Chair, and lift them up and over into the slame for there.

Hase's original Uranage had a twisting throwing motion to it, almost looks like a Suplex. Did he also invent the slam version that the Rock and Booker uses.

And here's what I always wondered. By straight jacket, is it meant double underhook where you hook the victim's left arm with your right, crossing your arms like a striaght jacket. Making a straight jacket suplex more like a tiger suplex than a german. Cause I've read some descriptions where you cross the victim's arms, and I'am confused. And I believe that Manami Toyota used to use the sit out straight jacket powerbomb(Japanese Ocean Bomb).

Hase's versios IS a suplex.

The Slam verison come from a move in the Russian Martial Art Sambo, hence the name Sambo Suplex. Rock and Booker's come from that.

Straight Jacket: Stand behind opp. pull left arm across their body, hold with your right, hand. Repeat the opposite way round with the other amr. So the opp has their arms crossed over them chest in an X, you hold the opposite hands.

A Tiger suplex is a German verison, as is a Staight Jack suplex (ala Ultmio Dragon, Mikey Whipwreck, Shame Helm's X Plex)

Yes, you do cross the arms.

In a Straight Jacket powerbomb, you head scissors them, cross their arms under the chest and grab the wrists them flip them up and powerbomb.

Yeah, when I was actually active here, i was thinking of changing to the Electric Chair set up into the slam, but I didn't like it. I should have changed it to read a gutwrench, which would have made it easier to do the move on more people. As it stood, when i left, i rarely used the move, and instead, relied on the Untamed (spinning chokeslam) for my finisher. And I never used it on anyone who was remotely heavy.

Oh well...that's good to know now...

And all of you should be ashamed of yourself...I kicked all your asses with a finisher that I couldn't even do...

Wait...weren't you all in the JL when I was champ?

Damn...

Where's ELM when I need him. I need someone to rag on dammit!

Da "loves his finisher...." H

This would be my finisher sometime soon.

Starts off from a powerbomb, then the opponent falls back, ala Ganso Bomb. The opponents arms are tied around my legs, so he is locked in. Instead of falling down, I fall forward, as the opponents chest hits the mat first, then my weight on his back. I roll him over which turns into a pin.

Hey, even I can kinda do that one. That's basically AJ Styles' Styles Clash, but I don't know what the actual move name is.
