Guest Brian Report post Posted October 24, 2002 Well, it looks like right now I'm going to be going to attend Stanford in the fall to complete my Master's Degree work in Sociology, so I'm starting to raise funds now while I have the chance. This list is not final; American Big Three is not listed and I'm sure I have tapes there and that my friend has that are unlisted. Dubs will cost five dollars a piece. This is about a third of my total foreign and indy stuff, as I haven't logged in most of the All Japan or New Japan, and alot of Lucha and M-Pro I received a while back. E-mail me at [email protected] for any requests, references, or questions. I will be accepting paypal, check, cash, or money order. Thank You. Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2002 Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but does the $5 include postage and packing (shipping)? If not, how much will shipping be to send a tape to the UK? Cheers, ChUnK!
Guest Brian Report post Posted November 1, 2002 Chunk, did you figure out if you could play NTSC? If so, shipping is excluded, I don't know how much it is overseas but I'm guessing like six dollars extra. I have a good load of tapes coming in from Dean Rasmussen from the tapelist but I'm not sure which ones. Right now, only thing I know of that's not on the list is the first ROH show. I might end up with a show with a bunch of rarities sometime next week, but I'll have to check the quality. It will probably be all mid-eighties WWF stuff, some handheld and some rare TV footage, with two Savage/Steamboat matches (one that is up there with their Mania), two Hogan/Savage (one that storywise is definately better than their Mania, and Hogan's offense looks pretty good), and some other things. Shootwise, as with other tapes, I'm checking with people to see what they have that I haven't listed on either list. I think most of the shoots that I have are just dubs of store-rented copies. I might make a trip to Video Hop (a store in Downtown Seattle loaded with anime and Japan Commercial copies, mainly shoot and shooto but osme pro-wrestling) soon to get some COOP's of some RINGS stuff. Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2002 Ive sent the cheque off for the DVD im buying to trade with the NTSC tape. If you follow, i will then send the DVD off to the states, and i should then get the NTSC tape sent back to me. A soon as I get the tape i will test to see if my VCR is NTSC compatible. I dont know how long its going to take though, because the cheque has got to get to the company in England, be cashed, my godds will then be sent out, I will then send it to the staes, and then i will wait for the tape to be sent to me. Phew, its a lengthy trade to say the least But as soon as ive got the tape, ill let you know if it works or not. Could you possibly find out how much it would soct you to post 1,2 and 3 tapes in a package to me? cheers ChUnK!

Chunk 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Brian, I got that NTSC video through the post, and the good news is, that my VCR IS!! ntsc compatible. So, in the new year, when ive got a bit more cash, id like to buy some stuff from you (if thats still cool). I know its the holiday season, but when you get a chance, could you find out how much it would cost to post (say 5 tapes) to me (in the UK). Also, do you want it in $'s, or would £'s be ok? Cheers, and a happy new year. ChUnK!

Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted January 2, 2003 So I just want to make sure I get this, I live in NY, so if I were to order two tapes from you it would be $10 with shipping included in those $10?
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 5, 2003 Shipping is not included Rob. Anyways Chunck, I think around $8.55 US is about what it costs to send five tapes inside the US. E-Mail me and we can work it out. I have five copies of PRIDE DVD's if anyone is interested: 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Right now I'm looking at around ten or twelve dollars each depending on how many purchased.
