Rob E Dangerously Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 He's *GOT* to wear that chainmail-head-covering-thingy. unless HHH doesn't want Steiner to 'steal his gimmick'
JasonX Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I could see them feuding right off the bat because Steiener thinks it is pathetic that he was given that belt that meant so much in WCW (well...not exactly) and we all know he hates Flair. I fear that they will put him in a Flair/Steiner feud and drop RVD back to midcard hell. But if they jetison the Kane feud, they can move RVD back into battle against HHH for SS in November and revive Flair/Steiner.... Or they could revive the Steiner/Flair connection from the last days of WCW and have Steiner beat HHH to near death, usurp control over the Fuck Belt and reunite with Flair and call HHH a fanboy sucking off Flair like he sucked HBK and Vince in order to stay on top of the WWE....
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Boy did every one of his promos in the years 2000-01 prove them wrong or what. Rick: You know somethin Gene?!?!?!? Mean Gene: What? Rick:.............................. You Want some, Come get some! You don't like me, Bite me! Gene: Fuck it!
Guest DeputyHawk Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 what was the context of gene saying that? i can never remember.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 He uttered Fuck it at a Summerlsam I believe way back, I just threw that in there because he obviously could care less about WCW back in '01 apparent because of his lack of effort in interviews.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I see this as good news if he is made to be a face kicking the crap out of HHH. I think people would buy into the fact that Steiner could beat HHH, something that no other RAW wrestler has going for them.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Am I the only one who finds it funny that Terry Taylor and Scott Steiner were hired within days of each other. Terry - Scott Steiner had a history of thinking I was trying to sabotage his career. Nothing could be further from the truth. Scott was very emotional and was never disciplined in the way he approached the business or office personnel. Eric Bischoff allowed a lot of freedom to the talent as far as direction of their character and expression of emotion. That opened the door for the “inmates to run the asylum.” We were in Lincoln, Nebraska to do Thunder. Eric came to the production meeting and then left in the early afternoon. Scott was to wrestle someone but they were hurt. We had to make a substitution and Scott was booked against Mike Awesome for the US title at our next PPV in 4 days. We decided to put Steiner vs. Awesome with The Cat as special referee screwing Steiner giving Awesome the win and some heat going into the PPV. I suggested Steiner vs. Cat with Midajah and the “Recliner” on the line. (Cat had taken both away from Steiner as a storyline) The committee chose the other match so I went along. Steiner didn’t want to lose to Awesome. I knew all day Steiner was stewing and avoided him because I knew what was coming. I had the unenviable job of delivering bad news to talent and because of our past history I knew Scotty would vent on me one way or another. When it was time for the match, Scotty’s music started. Awesome came up to the Gorilla Position (Position by the entrance by which the talent passes on their way to the ring. Respectfully named in honor of Gorilla Monsoon who manned that position in the WWF for years). Awesome freaked out saying he was going out first! WCW had a format typed up and everyone on the production team has the same format. That way the music, video wall, lighting, and all match the talent coming through the entrance. It takes 5 to 10 seconds to reset a talent’s entrance, which on live TV seems like a lifetime. Luckily, Thunder was taped. I called a reset for Awesome’s entrance. I hear screaming and see Scotty running up the tunnel towards the Gorilla Position. Scotty had his opening. He proceeded to confront me on several things bothering him. He said I changed the music to screw him. I showed him the format, which had him going first. He said he was the US champion and was introduced second. I calmly explained that wasn’t true because he had a promo before every match about being a “Big Booty Daddy” and finished with “Holler if you hear me!” Not reacting well to logic, Scotty went to my firing Kim Kanner who was one of his freaks. She quit and he knew that, so he went to my leaving a message because I had “no balls”. I explained I called 4 times as a courtesy so Kim wouldn’t hear about her official termination on the Internet. Frustrated, Scotty threatened to beat me up. I said I wouldn’t fight over a fake wrestling finish. I never said I would sue him; it’s not my style. It’s funny, the only person I told I considered legal action - if attacked - was Eric Bischoff. Eric told us not to talk to the Internet, but Eric’s best friend is Bob Ryder who owns www.1wrestling.com and that’s where the story broke.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 nah... Steiner has to pay his dues.... he'll have sex with a mannequin of Goldust... all the while calling him "Midajah"
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I dunno....he's the only broken down useless slug I enjoy.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 He won't be so useless given the right program. But being on RAW, now that's useless!
Guest razazteca Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 the only program that would be entertaining to me would be Steiner blindsiding HHH with the leadpipe to reclaim the WCW Gold Belt.
Guest gwf0704 Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I cant wait for Poppa Pump's siren to go off, him swaggering towards the ring, chain mail hat on with sunglasses, grabbing the mic and utterly going off on HHH, Booker T, Flair and the rest of the WWE. Can you imagine a roid raged Steiner calling out everyone..... Those promos were always enjoyable and for all the Steiner haters, he can wrestle, injured or not, as even with his incredible bulk the man could still pull off some incredible suplexes and power moves. As for him being slow, he is supposed to be methodical as he takes his time in punishing his opponent. What do you expect from a guy that big, Rey Misterio???? Also, I love to hear how the WCW haters say, oh the WWE doesnt need WCW wrestlers as they are all crap. Sorry to hear all of you hate Goldust, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Misterio Jr so much......
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 There is quite a difference in Scott Steiner, Scott Hall, Nash, and Hogan as opposed to Those guys. Funny thing is the only one above that was a "main eventer" was Booker. I think most of them are referring to the higher ups for most of WCW's tenure. Remember the WCW formula? Undercard rules, but mian event sucks? Yeah, everyone knows about that and never disputes that those guys are great in the ring.
Guest TheAnvil Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I've been waiting for this moment from the second that I heard WWE bought out wCw. I'm going to mark like a teenage girl when I hear the sirens. If they give him some pathetic music like they gave Kane, I'm going to be pissed. I'd like to see them form the new horsemen stable, and have it be all the hosses. You could have Steiner, Bautista, HHH, and Orton...with Flair as their manager. Now THAT is a heel stable. Either that, or you could have Steiner come out, say that the WWE stole his belt, and he wasn't gonna let HHH get away with having it handed to him, and he's gonna get it one way or another. Steiner is soooo heel that I think it could work... Did anyone else notice that on the new Bautista commercial, that it said "The Genetic Revolution"? Any connection to the Genetic Freak???
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Did anyone else notice that on the new Bautista commercial, that it said "The Genetic Revolution"? Any connection to the Genetic Freak??? I believe I was the first to say they should call him Batista Steiner...
Guest BoboBrazil Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I can't wait until he snaps one night and beats the shit out of HHH.

The difference is that Hall, Nash, Hall and Hogan are big wrestlers where the others are small, meaning slow and methodical to speedy and athletic. Booker just happens to be both big and strong and pretty quick. As per main eventer I can remember Chris Benoit main eventing against Booker, Sullivan and as part of a tag team or member with the Horsemen. What I mean by success is that WCW didnt have all crappy wrestlers and the ones who are currently successful in WWE were also successful in WCW. I cant explain Goldust though........
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 There will be no sirens, that was RTCs sound, there will be a new intro noise. Either way, hes way to roided, way to pissed, and way to self intrested to last long, all he has to do is shoot on HHH, and his career is dead in the water. All he has to do is piss off Vince, and his career is dead. He's got once chance and due to the roids and drugs I doubt he's gonna keep it. Still It'll be an intresting month. I bet he's got a scott hall style contract.
Guest razazteca Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 if the WWE if going to all out with the Crippled Horsemen then the line up should be: HHH Scott Steiner Shane Douglas Batista Flair as manager Big Papa Pump would turn on them at the Elimation Chamber

ChrisMWaters Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 You know, I have to wonder... Does Steiner still have that muscle with the peak on it? I mean, last I heard he was injured so...
Guest Dr. Death Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 THANK GOD! I never thought they would sign him. If the man can stay healthy, then he will go far.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 You know, I have to wonder... Does Steiner still have that muscle with the peak on it? I mean, last I heard he was injured so... I certainly hope so... Hey, maybe his new gimmick could be that he's a sailor (well, he swears like one), and he smokes a pipe all the time. He'd squint on eye, and when he eats his spinach he gets uber-strong... Yes, he can be Popeye, the one person that you said HHH could job to, Chris.

Besides, I don't see Steiner eating spinich.
Guest Muzz Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I've never minded Scott Steiner, he was able to play a dominant heel in the last months of wCw well. He ain't the best on the mic, and probably prone to injury, but he won't want to screw up another chance in for a mage wreslting promotion. When I first saw "WWE signs Steiner" on the net, I was immediately thinking, "Rick? Makes sense..."
Guest nikowwf Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Steiner should not be with HHH for any reason. I can see him standing there while HHH leeches his heat. (Two Man Power Trip Part 2?) He should be a face, because it allows the fans to think at least someone has a chance to topple HHH. nikO
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 ::kills notJames:: Happy?
Guest humongous2002 Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Vince is drowning in a glass of water, even though i'm glad they hired Scott Steiner i personally think that it really wasn't necessary to do that,WWE has the 5 times WCW champion Booker T stuck as a midcard jobber and the Sheik's favorite wrestler RVD hitting his head on that glass ceiling we call main eventing, 2 top RAW babyfaces, 2 fan favorites and they still haven't elevated these guys due to politics. So I ask you what's the point of having Steiner if they are going to dick around with him b/c he "didn't pay his dues", they are planning on having a rookie main event Wrestlemania instead of letting main event a 10+ year veteran like RVD or Booker b/c they haven't pay their dues yet?????!!!!!
Guest notJames Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 ::kills notJames:: Happy? No. Steiner's still signed. Kill him instead. Wait, then we'll be dead together. Shit, I can't win. Kill me now.
