Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted November 1, 2002 All signs do indicate that Vince Russo is gone from NWA: TNA. Russo was the head booker up until recently. As reported earlier, Panda Energy has bought the majority interest in TNA, and Russo looks to have lost a power struggle with Jerry Jarrett for the promotion's head booker spot. New reports have it that Jarrett did offer Russo a spot with TNA as a secondary writer, but Russo was not willing to be involved with the product unless he had final say. Smartest thing NWA will ever do, other then making Low-Ki champ. Russo had 1, 1 good idea, Austin vs VKM, after that it was all pretty much somewhere between dog shit and the utter drizzeling shits. I can put up with the random Jarrett insanity a lot more than I can put up with the random Russo idiocy. I really, really, REALLY don't understand the Russo apologists. I know some marks who harken back to the Crash TV days....anyone remember them? I do. Yeah, the storylines were.....well, I'll be nice and use the adjective "colorful"....but the wrestling SUCKED. I feel more confident with Jerry Jarrett holding the book.
