Summer Slam '94

I am watching SummerSlam 1994. First of Rakishi(Fatu) just got through, with his partner Samu, AKA the Head Shrinkers. Just left the ring beating Bam Ba and IRS. But the thing to make it great is Leslie Nielson in the back looking for the Undertaker. Everyone already knows that this is the two Takers match, so this will be good. I will be back with more memories as they occur. The main event is Razor/Diesel. HBK in Diesel's corner, Walter"Sweetness"Payton in Razor's. I love to see shit I can't remember!!!!!!

Take the Leslie Neilson bit out of the show and it's not that bad. From a pure fan standpoint, I liked most of the matches at the time...although Taker vs. Taker was retarded even when I was 13.

This was the first full PPV I ever watched. I'm so pissed off that I taped over it.

I really liked that ppv...I rented it on video that year. It also has my favorite match ever on it. :) Memories.

Great PPV, one of my favourite WWF events, and my forth favourite WWF match of all time, Bret vs. Owen in the cage.

Did the live version of the ppv have the pre-show softball game highlights like the official video?

Nah, that was all CHV exclusive. As I remember, the count-down was just Macho Man, Vince, Lawler, and probably Pettingeil inside the arena. I remember at one point, Savage is on the house mic and is making his way down to ringside and that's the first time we got a look at the British Bulldog as he and Savage shake hands.

I actually liked the Fake Undertaker angle. I think I liked to because the Undertaker was returning though and not the actual two Takers. I thought the actual match was kind of stupid.

That also had the best WWE Women's match in history between Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano. PLUS, I loved the end to the Diesel/Ramon match. I marked HARD for that finish...

I need not say anything about Bret/Owen...other than it fuckin ruled.
