The Dames Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 It's finally done.... Click on the top of the forum or the sig. Dames
Guest Goodear Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Good review Dames, and especially thanks for the pictures of the workers. It's really nice to put some faces with the names you hear pimped from the Indy warriors all the time.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Not to be overly picky (OK, that's a lie) but isn't Jay Briscoe's "Half-Nelson" suplex you mentioned not actually a Half-Nelson suplex? I'd have to see the match again to be positive, but I'm pretty sure it was actually the Half-and-Half Suplex, which I know Jay uses from time to time. It looks like a Half-Nelson suplex, but he Chickenwings the guy's other arm as well.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 I have that 3 way sitting on my computer still waiting to be watched. I really need to see that. Eddy really said that he wanted to face RVD? I don't know why that strikes me as odd...but it does. I'm glad he did though, as he carried RVD to his best match (Judgment Day) and then they probably had RVD's most famous match (the ladder match)
Guest Sandman9000 Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 RVD's most famous WWE match, for now. I consider his most famous match vs. Jerry Lynn @ Hardcore Heaven 99
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Who saw the RVD-Lynn match? About a million, counting the re-broadcast on TNN. Who saw RVD-Eddy? Many, many more.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Well...for me personally RVD's most memorable match was when he beat Bigelow for the TV title. That match made him. But more people will associate him with that ladder match than any other match he had. unless he wins a really high profile match at some point.

Gargulio did call it a Half and Half suplex, but from the camera angle and with Red's jacket blocking the view of his other half, I couldn't see the chickenwing. Dames
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I figured it was something like that...it is kinda hard to see. Good review otherwise though.
Guest Andy Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 Just wanted to say to anyone who hasn't seen it: this show absolutely rules! Ring Of Honor is the best thing going on in America at the moment, imo, and with Doug Williams wrestling regularly over there, it can only get better. Finally Feinstein produces a good-quality show. Best wishes, Andy
