I'm still glossing over the show so far. Short main-event. That can't be good.

Then again, rancid steak can't be good either.

Wheee, comments!

Congratulations to Danny Williams on an impressive return.

Well, CIA won, but in Frost's match. Kinda balances itself out. Maybe.

Whoo, I won!

Ash wins by default, but regardless, a good hardcore match from the King of the Undercard. ^_^

And the Tag Team Title match was...there.

*sigh* gotta change the sig, but really, thats -exactly- how the match should have gone, Annie and ELM shaking hands, and the belt retired around ELM's waist. It was fun being a double champ while it lasted :)

...Interesting main event....

ASH IS EATINGZ BABIES... ...no. Plus, I want a shot against him ;)

DANNY~! My man comes back strong with a win~! Dank, yo.

Oh, just for the record...

Danny Williams makes a return in probably the most entertaining match of his that I've read. Ordinarily I hate kicking out of finishers, but the history between these two definitely warranted it, and I really liked the way this one built.

pretty good show...somewhat.

I digged the Williams match and the LHW Retirement match. What does that make ELM the first ever 5 time champion?

The others were pretty damn cool like the Frost match, but the ME was so Ho Hum.

Whats happening here?

C.I.A. vs. Frost analysis.

I enjoy Frost's new sleezy old school monster heel persona, reminds me of Stan Hansen. Frost than continues to summon the spirit of Hansen, and attacks CIA from behind at the bell. Frost than busts out another Hansen spot, "the take a hit to land a hit" in which Frost absords a CIA running attack in order to nail him with a stiff lariat! Good stuff, thus far.

I have a small complaint about the next spot. After the pinfall, CIA gets up like nothings wrong, even though he just took one of Frost's most brutal strikes. It also interrupts the flow with both guys getting up after a pinfall, and starting over. A Chinlock would come in handy at times like this. But early in the match, I really don't have that big of a problem with this, since it could establish that neither man is weak enough for one to take over yet.

I liked the DDT tease. Teases are an excellent way to further a match, since later when the move is actually hit, it shows that the other guy has been weakened over the course of the match. Frost goes for a pin off a snapmare, showing how lightly he is taking CIA which is crucial to the matches storyline. Frost grabbing an Iriswhip, after kicking out of a pin comes off a bit akward. Having Stevens point out that it's taking Frost longer than last time, to kick out of the pin is some more great match furthering.

Up next is the match's climax, with CIA busting out the Jerry Lynn apron Sunset flip Powerbomb spot. Excellent selling by Frost, I am a big fan of the corpse sell which is very appropiate for a sick high spot like that. CIA should have selled his ass as being injured, instead of his legs but oh well. Having CIA take right back over despite falling is cool, since Frost should still be injured from the Powerbomb.

Frost continues to sell the Powerbomb, which continues to add to the importance of the high spot. This leads to Frost being unable to connect with the Tiger Driver, allowing a battered CIA to get a fluke roll up.

Overall, excellent story telling. Frost takes rookie CIA to lightly, CIA gets a fluke bad ass move that injures Frost to the point that he is unable to hit his signature moves, allowing CIA to a get a fluke roll up. The match though didn't flow as smoothly as it could, and Frost should have been made look a little stronger to put over the idea that CIA is playing an underdog rookie in the match. Not bad for the length though.

rating: ***

Can I urge everyone to PLEASE read the finish I wrote?

Here's the theory. I obviously went out of my way to make sure a certain event or series of events got in. Hell, I didn't show for my health. So I must have put it in for a reason.

Thank you. This has been Tom Sighs In An Exasperated Manner.

Well, I just finished the show, and frankly it's the best one in a while.

Danny has come back, and boy did he ever come back. Nice opening match, and it's always good to see a returning face win his first match back.

Frost jobs to CIA in a great match. Sunset flip powerbomb to the Apron = OWWW. One wonders if Frost will have a back injury for a while after that sick bump.

Someone is coming back! Whoo! But who?

ELM WINS! ELM WINS! MARK OUT! MARK OUT! MARK OUT! Well, it would only be right for him to retire the belt, after holding the thing longer than anyone else. Props to the World Champ for taking his specialty belt in one last match.

Good match from Ash, the Gimmick Match King of the SJL! Unfortunate that Bo couldn't show, though :(.

A short match from Flesher, with Ted Turner and CNN trying to hijack the airwaves. But the ending was certainly interesting: Busting out the icepick and the black mist, eh? I thought the clan died, buddy. Well, the feud is heating up, and hopefully more matches come out of it to build the heat up. Oh, and this is my fav line of the night:

"He dropped like Hasek faking a groin pull!"

Edit: Christ, I knew I missed something. The Pseudo-German turns evermore towards the darkside in a short but interesting promo.
