Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted November 12, 2002 If only HHH would stop all his matches, it would certainly beat having to watch the "classic matches" he's putting on now.

Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Hey, i wonder what would happen if the entire arena started chanting 'STEEEEERRROOOOOOIDS! STEEEEEERRROOOOIDS' @ Hunter? I remember when one fan did that to Scott Stiener in WCW, and the guy went BESERK. Fuck, how funny would it be to see Triple H do that... Well i know i'd laugh... Guest Ram Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Hunter Hearst-Helmsley vs. Kane – World Heavyweight Title Match Before the match, HHH got on the mic and totally ripped into this guy in the crowd, then talked briefly about how he is going to re-cripple HBK. The match didn’t go too long before the entire crowd’s attentioned turned to a catfight in the audience. It was so distracting, in fact, that HHH got on the mic: “Hey asshole, Cant you see I am trying to work in here?!” The crowd loved HHH. Then, after a Main Event Spinebuster from HHH, he turned his attention BACK to the person causing the disruption and got on the mic again: “For chrissakes… just kick the bitch out!” Oh… then there was a match in the ring too… Kane got DQ’ed for beatin up refs, then the locker room cleared, and Kane Chokeslammed everyone for the hell of it, did his pyro and that was that… *1/2 (the ½ for the catfight) From the other thread.. Guest eirejmcmahon Report post Posted November 12, 2002 A fan ran in and shoved Eddy off a ladder and he didn't stop the match... There's a world of diffference between a live television show and a house show.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Not to the people who paid to be at the house show.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted November 12, 2002 So Triple H gets pissed over a chick fight in the crowd and then goes Ape Shit over a Women yelling at him at Right Side? I've read times when Jericho & Angle have stopped and yelled at the Crowd over the mic during matches, I think austin use to do this also, but that was to Work the Crowd. btw, since Eddie clocked that guy who ran in during the Ladder Match, I haven't seen or read about any fans running into the ring since then. Eddie = Badass.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted November 12, 2002 You guys will find any way to bitch at HHH. First, it's a house show Second, his point is somewhat true. It's difficult to work when something like that is going on, I'd imagine. You guys mention the Eddy incident, but Eddy was probably blown out of his mind to be falling off the ladder when Rob was laying down and his more restrained reaction could be at least somewhat credited to not knowing what the hell is going on. Third, it's not like he's overstepped any boundaries or doing anything that only he could do. His opponent might be angry, but Kane's already gone through so much stupid shit in the past year alone that I doubt he'd care. The business is already exposed. And Vince McMahon did quite a bit of the exposing. All these unwritten rules about the business are effectively void as long as Vince is the only seroius game in town. The carnie stuff is long gone, guys and you damn well know it. You just want to pin HHH (pun not intended) on something else.
Chunk 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Ive got a clip on my PC of that Eddy incident. He only hits the guy once before the security guys took him away. Im pretty sure I remember Jericho doing the same thing to a fan aswell.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Ive got a clip on my PC of that Eddy incident. Is there any way you could post that clip here? Please pardon my ignorance on computer related things if this is not possible. I went to bed before this incident aired and never go to see it.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Say what you want about how this is random HHH bashing... but I get the feeling that if anyone else decided to ignore the match they were having to yell at idiots in the crowd a talent meeting would be soon to follow. Chunk - you live in England right and so even if you had stayed up they cut the fan incident out of the show. I agree with the dude that said you should post that pic. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Fans get beat on by wrestlers all the time. I remember HHH caught some one running after Linda once, and Regal caught someone too. I think some poor soul got caught by Bulldog and Vader once too.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Then why does everyone come after HHH and not Vince? I don't get it. People say HHH can be dealt with. But what about Vince? It's his vision you people are dealing with. If he sees HHH on top, shouldn't we vent anger towards him? Vince is the one who can stop it. Oh, I forgot, Vince is the giver of pure wrestling action and could not possibly be responsible for anything bad we see on TV. I apologize. I'll go back to being the smark I should be: Fuck HHH! Vince is ALL GOOD!

Vince is ALL GOOD! Dude I am far from a Vinny Mac apologist, but the fact is that Hunter has a GREAT political campaign going on. 1) boning Big Steph 2) "last of the BIG DRAWS"(I'd argue that but who am I?) 3) blowing Gewirtz verbally 4) "loyal" to Vinny Mac.... the beat goes on... Vince IS to blame, but Crips has covered his bases pretty well...
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Don't get me wrong, I know HHH is a total political animal. But if Vinny Mac can put a stop to it and start pushes for whoever, stop pushes for whoever, than I push accountability towards him. I know he has a lot of bases covered, but in all honesty, Vince supercedes Steph, Gerwitz, and whoever by so much that I cannot help but blame Vince. Steph and Gerwitz just march to General Vince's orders anyways.

Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted November 13, 2002 Okay, say you are in a small hick town in Alabamma or something. The sheriff is totally useless, and a criminal is destroying the town. Do you let the criminal off, and just bitch out the sheriff? I don't see Vince as the sheriff. I see the road agents as the sheriffs. Vince is more like the mayor or governor and he should (and does to a point) crack down on his road agents and writers to comply how he wants his town to be run. You can make the argument he isn't going to want to piss off his daughter because she is dating him, but lets be honest. If HHH is costing the company a ton of potential dollars, Vince should see it, identify the problem i.e. getting HHH out of his top position, and adjust accordingly. My thing is I think Vince is just peechy keen on HHH being on top, so my anger and frustration heads to him because we are forced to watch Vince's vision no matter how bad it is and it appears Vince's vision for right now is HHH and the hosses on top. Sucks not having alternatives that are as accessible as WWE doesn't it?
