And it wasn't half an hour it was longer, and even when a mod WAS on he didn't do anything, not answer PM's on the subject or anything.

 

I didn't get any PMs either. Sometimes, I will just leave the computer on, even though I am not actually here. Send me a PM, and I will response if available. I tend to avoid the No Holds Barred folder like the plague, so I won't know what is going on if you don't start sending me PMs. I have taken care of several trolls outside of NHB.

I got no PMs about it, either. I also wasn't on the boards at the time. But I think most mods have the AIM icon in their profiles, so that avenue can always be used if a PM doesn't generate a response.

Here's the typical "Troll Situation" at TSM...

 

1. On the weekend a troll shows up and starts some type of ridiculous rant against the posters of the board or defends a wrestler no else likes, Test, HHH, or Show, and then proceeds to flame everyone who disagrees.

 

2. So called "cool" or "established" posters (including the Marney-Lite female poster of the week) overrun topic trying to outflame the troll and take home the bragging rights that he impressed the current "female poster of the week with the take no shit attitude."

 

3. In the midst of the melee, one of the established posters creates a topic whining about the troll.

 

4. If the troll isn't taken care of within 10 seconds another established poster creates a topic calling for more mods.

 

5. Other posters join in on topic and unbeknowest to them as they give each other verbal fellatios, the troll is banned by a mod.

 

6. Posters continue to debate about who would be the best mod citing such things as most posts, coolest, and other totally irrelevant bits of information.

 

7. Mods show up and defend themselves and shoot down some geeks hopes of being in power sometime in his miserable life.

 

8. Nevertheless, the debate rages on until the end of the week.....

 

9. Repeat steps 1 thru 8....
