Guest What? Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 After reading the Dames' Diatribes, I saw many-a-move I don't know. Here are a few: Styles Clash Ki Krusher Siakolypse Code Red Spiral Tap 8 Second Ride That's all for now. Any help will be appreciated.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Styles Clash - I've seen it called a "Front Piledriver", but this may not be the most accurate of terms. Basically, you take the guy up for what appears to be a Piledriver, but you step over his arms, hooking them. Then drop to your knees and slam him forward on his stomach. There's a move similar to this in No Mercy called the Front Face Pancake. Crash in the WWE also uses the Styles Clash now, so you may be able to see it during his weekly Velocity tour. Picture of Styles Clash from the 2nd rope - http://nwawildside.bravepages.com/images/A.../AJStyles06.jpg Ki Krusher - Hook up opponent in the Fisherman's Suplex position, pick him up, and drop him in front of you as if for a Michinoku Driver. Picture of Ki Krusher '99 - www21.brinkster.com/lowki99/images/KIKRUSHERBILLY.jpg There's also a Ki Krusher '00, but I can't help you with that one, since I've never seen it.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 After reading the Dames' Diatribes, I saw many-a-move I don't know. Here are a few: Styles Clash Ki Krusher Siakolypse Code Red Spiral Tap 8 Second Ride That's all for now. Any help will be appreciated. I'm really bad at describing moves, and I'm sure others can describe them much more accurately than I, but I'll try to help you out. Styles Clash: like a front piledriver only with the arms hooked behind the legs. Ki Krush '99: Fisherman's suplex into a sitout powerbomb Siakolypse: Just like Test's testdrive (or roll of the dice) Code Red: Easily the most complicated move I've ever seen and most complicated to describe. Red starts with his legs hooked onto the back of his opponent, and it's sort of a standing sunsetflip into a sitout powerbomb. Spiral Tap: From the top rope facing forward, he spins around a billion times before landing. 8 Second Ride: This one's pretty hard to describe too. He swings his opponent around into a faceplant from his shoulders, sort of like an F5 but with a little more shifting of your opponent. Thats the best I can do!
Guest gizmo Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Siakolypse: Just like Test's testdrive (or roll of the dice) No it isn't, the Siakolypse is a snap version of a swinging neckbreaker, with his opponent hooked as a suplex. Spiral Tap is a 360 senton, basically the exact opposite of a yang time. 8 second ride would be easier to describe if he would do it the same each time. Last week it was a kryptonite krunch style lift into bulldog, this week it was into a ddt. ki krusher is more of a fisherman michinoku driver than a powerbomb.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Well EXCUUUUUUUUUSSEEE MEEEE
Guest Dace59 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 8 second ride. Opp like a fireman's carry, but across the middle of your back, so their stomach is on your back, and the face the same direction as you. Swing round into a DDT. That was only worked out from Dame's descs, up it seems right. Tajiri used to use an inverted version of the set up as s submission
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Styles Clash - Get opponent for a piledriver, let them slide down more so that their head is just a few inches off the ground, and then move your legs in front of their arms, and jump and fall forward. It's a modified front pancake. Ki Krusher - Fisherman's Suplex, lift into a Torture Rack (for less than a second; believe me, he usually holds them up there so he can balance out a little bit), flip down into Fisherman's Michinoku Driver II. Siakilypse - Front facelock with opponent's arm draped over yoru shoulder (as if to go for a suplex), then swing over HARD into a swinging neckbreaker. Snap swining neckbreaker with arm drape. Code Red - Opponent hunched over, sit on opponent's back with your legs hooking their arm, and then flip violently over into a Sunset Flip. Hard to describe, but it is a damn impressive sight. Rey Mysterio Jr. did it a few weeks ago on SmackDown. Spiral Tap - No, this is NOT a 360 Senton. Watch, and you'll see Styles hti a LEG DROP out of it. Somersault 360 corkscrew leg drop. 8 Second Ride - Hold opponent for Air Raid Crash/Reality Check/Kryptonite Krunch, then spin them into a Novacaine/Flatliner move.
The Dames Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Taken from the "What a man without his 'move'" thread, I described Code Red as such: Red's Code Red is also very difficult to describe. While the opponent is hunched over in a position where he can be sunset flipped, Red jumps on his back and hooks his legs underneath his opponents arms. From there, he swings through with the sunset flip but the hooked legs make it so that his shoulders and back impact the canvas. Everyone else has pretty much gotten the rest of the moves down. As for the 8 Second Ride, Dace got it right. Dames
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Dames, I see Storm hit a Flatliner at the end of the 8 Second Ride...
The Dames Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 I think sometimes it just comes across that way but occasionally it looks like a DDT. Dames
Guest What? Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Jesus....those are pretty complicated. and Styles can really hit a Somersault 360 Corkscrew Legdrop? Damn...
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Maybe the term "somersault 360 corkscrew leg drop" is a little bit misleading... Styles somersaults off the top rope, and corkscrews his own body 360 degrees around WHILE FLIPPING (methinks Styles might have some experience in diving or gymnastics) and then lands a leg drop (the leg drop usually comes off sloppy, though, but still looks GOOD).
Guest J*ingus Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Ah well, crazy stuff. The single most impressive move I've ever seen (aside from the Spanish Fly) still belongs to that freak of nature Jason Cross, who can do a shooting star press but somehow gets an extra rotation out of it and lands in a legdrop position. Oh, and I swear I saw one of the Toryumon guys do the Code Red (or something very similar) on an older tape, I just don't remember who.
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 Does The Amazing Red claim to have invented the Code Red? Does Nova know about this?
Guest darrdor Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 What do u mean does Nova know about this? I have never seen him do the Code Red??
The Dames Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 What do u mean does Nova know about this? I have never seen him do the Code Red?? It's a joke....the joke is pretty much that Nova invented a ton of wrestling moves, when in fact, he stole most of them. It's now expanded to him pretty much inventing EVERYTHING.....including wrestling itself. Get it? Dames
EL DANDY~! Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 I started the Nova craze...go back and read the RAW thread from a few weeks back. Chris: Best. Joke. Currently. Oh...I'm gonna Dace all over the Spiral Tap... Inverted Phoenix Legdrop. Rey did the Code Red on Chavo at the beginning of Unforigiven (heat main event), I believe.
The Dames Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Yes, Rey did the Code Red on Chavo at the Heat before Unforgiven. Dandy, I disagree with the Phoenix part because AJ doesn't start with his back to his opponent. Dames
Guest Dace59 Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 The Nova joke is so old I hate anyone that makes it. It's been done to death on GameFAQs.com We had people asking about the move Oxygen (And we meant Nova invented the gas Oxygen) And an Inverted Phexoin would be damn difficult.

Guest Dace59 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I didn't quiet mean it like that Dream, sorry. You haven't sat through an eperdemic of it though. As long as you not going around says "Nova Invented <Insert anything here>!" I'll be fine with it.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Nova invented Dace. Anyway, I've heard Spanish Fly described as doing a moonsault while holding your opponent. My question is, how the fuck is that possible? Is that really how the move goes?
The Dames Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 The opponent is sitting on the top turnbuckle facing the ring. Each member of the SAT's climb the turnbuckles facing him and stand on the top rope with him, holding him in a Rock Bottom position. They then moonsault at the same time and the opponent ends up flipping and landing on his back. When the SAT's do it properly, it looks beautiful, but lately, they've lacked the synchronization, probably due to Joel Maximo's weight gain. Dames
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 When the SAT's do it properly, it looks beautiful, but lately, they've lacked the synchronization, probably due to Joel Maximo's weight gain. JOEL IS NOT FAT!!! He's just.....festivly plump.
The Dames Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 ....Tell Joel Maximo to stop hitting on my ex girlfriend! I don't care if she's my ex now, still bothers me, dammit. Dames
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Elaborate on that Dames. I know you are both from the New York area.
Guest Dace59 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Spanish Fly rules. Rackus of CZW also does a standing single man version of it.
The Dames Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Elaborate on that Dames. I know you are both from the New York area. Long story....rather not. Dace, Ruckus can do some amazing shit for a guy his size. I was actually a fan of his backyard work in Maryland before he went into training. Claude Morrow (his real name) is a good guy too, I'm quite proud of him. Dames
Guest Dace59 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 He can really move, yer. Van Ruckusator is nice too.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 M-Dogg 20 has hit the Shooting Star Legdrop. I constantly find myself amazed that a 250 pound man can do some of the stuff that Ruckus does. Shooting star presses from anywhere, even a standing version, somersault terminator, space flying tiger drop, that backflip with the legdrop at the end, and other whacked out shit. It's insane what he can do. If he just learns some psychology, he'll be god. Do you think Ruckus might ever find his way to TNA?
