Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Talk about fucking IMPRESSIVE. Brock gets some ELEVATION on this. It's on Kazaa, so if you haven't seen it, look for it.
Guest Repo Man jr Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Here too: http://www.hot.ee/yokoono/lesnarssp.gif
Guest DrTom Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 DAMN. That puts Kidman's version to shame.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 That's kind of unfair to say about Kidman's Kidman as we know just kinda kicks his legs out from under him...Brock does more it more like Mero dod...he bends his legs and tries for height...they're two different moves really.
Guest DrTom Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Kidman as we know just kinda kicks his legs out from under him...Brock does more it more like Mero dod...he bends his legs and tries for height...they're two different moves really. But since they're both called the "Shooting Star Press," we can compare them. And that video clip of Brock's version put's Kidman's ninny version to shame. He could get the height if he wanted to.
Guest Dace59 Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Kidman's is just a very bad version of the move. Brock's a good. Lyger's always classic, and the bench makr been as he invented it.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 It's just impressive as Hell to see a 300 pound man doing a gainer. And the height it spectacular. Great distance too.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 You wanna know what's really weird? I believe that version of the SSP is in SD: SYM!! I don't think they gave it to Brock, but if not, I'll give it to him. BTW, what is the so-called Brock Lock? Is it simply the bearhug he was using like when he "ended Hulkamania?"
Guest Army Eye Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 At this point they might as well save Lesnar's SSP for Wrestlemania. But, as the incumbent title holder, he'll probably be losing the Wrestlemania main event? Surely if he hits the SSP he should win the match.

I think there was a story in the WWE magazine where he used that move in amature wrestling...slightly modified...and almost broke a guy's rib. THen again...it WAS WWE magazine...
B. Brian Brunzell Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I'm not quite sure what the Brock Lock is. I think it IS the bearhug he used on Hogan. I love the two version of the SSP in SD! SYM. Now I don't have to give Lyger Kidman's version.

I don't remember him using the Double Powerbomb since before he debuted, so I just replaced that with the SSP 2.

Actually I just put it as one of his normal moves but I might change it so I can get that cool replay on it. I don't really like that double powerbomb. It's unrealistic cus the opponent doesn't help him in the move and grab his hands.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Eh. It's nice and all, but it's not OMGOMGOMGOMG BEST WRESTLER EVER OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG FIRE EVERYONE ELSE OMGOMGOMG. It's Eh. Honestly, I've doublt biased because I don't like Brock and I'm not an SSP mark, but how on earth are certain people using that move to justify the push?

I don't think it's the fact that they're impressed with the move itself, but the fact that a guy with that much mass did the move.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Thats nice. But Kidman's version looks better I think.

Push them over everyone in the company. They're BIGGER THAN BROCK~! Size means Jackshit. If you follow that move with a four minute bearhug, it ruins it.
Guest BillyTheStud Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 HOSSES shouldn't be doing exciting moves like that.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 KICKASS. Now if he beats show with that, he's on his way to actually being over. It's not like he does anything WRONG as it is, just needs something to wake up the marks.
TheFranchise Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 At this point they might as well save Lesnar's SSP for Wrestlemania. But, as the incumbent title holder, he'll probably be losing the Wrestlemania main event? Surely if he hits the SSP he should win the match. Just a thought, the WWE would have to be extra careful that Lesnar doesn't make a mistake with the SSP, not only with the injury factor, but also, a big man taking a big accidental bump can't be good during the main event of the biggest spectacle of them all? After an amazing wrestlemania, Lesnar inadvertantly MISSES the SSP?
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I brought up that point before, and I believe it was just before Survivor Series (the fifth or so PPV where we were 'assured' that this was 'the one where he busts it out') when it was common knowledge that Lesnar was hurt.
TheFranchise Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I don't think we will get to see it, if they see it once, the fans will want it every week, and that just won't happen.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Maybe I'm just missing the the excitement. ::Watches clip again::
TheFranchise Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Yep, i much prefer Billy Kidman's move, but then again, i like kidman.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 I don't like Kidman's either. It looks lazy.
TheFranchise Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 lol the thing is with the move, it isn't performed week in week out like he used to do in wCw, if you saw him doing it on a weekly basis, you may change your mind.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 It's also nothing I haven't seen an eight year old do off a diving board.
Guest Dace59 Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 Kidman's SSP is still horrible.
