Guest Sykotic2002 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Ok two weeks ago The Harris' beat the SAT's in the finals of a four team tournament that also involved Rainbow Express and Hot Shots for a shot at the tag team title. The next week Slash and Brian Lee are defending against Curt Hennig and B.G. James and this coming week, Slash and Lee are facing James Storm and Chris Harris in singles matches. So what happened to the title shot for Ron and Don Harris? I guess just something else for them to forget about.
The Dames 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 ....I think it might have something to do with the fact that I wrote that heel vs heel match ups don't do anything for the crowds and wont generate interest...along with the fact that the Harris' suck. Then again, I'm probably giving myself too much credit. Dames
Guest Sykotic2002 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 I don't want to see the match, I was just wondering what happened. But, it would be nice to have some consistency. If they didn't want heel v. heel, they should have just had the SAT's win.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 This promotion isn't exactly known for it's consistency (see the 6 way rankings match for the X title). But it doesn't matter. The hot feud right now is New Church/AMW and that's what they're playing on. The Harrises will probably still get their shot...
The Dames 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 That's what I said! This past week....they through Hennig and James together just so they didn't have to have heel/heel. I'm willing to bet the Harris' get their shot once the New Church lose their titles. Dames
Guest Sykotic2002 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Speaking of consistency about the X-Division, let's see: Low-Ki won, so he got his shot the next week. OK so far. Chris Daniels came in second, never seen again. Kid Romeo in third, never seen again. Tony Mamluke and Elix Skipper, not sure on the order and I know Elix got a title shot and I guess Mamaluke got a sgot, not sure though, andthe first one eliminated Jerry Lynn got numerous shots. So, I guess you are right about consistency.
Guest job squad Report post Posted December 2, 2002 guess that they will have the harrises invoke there #1 contender status to make a amw vs new church match a 3 way dance
The Dames 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Hey Sykotic, Mamaluke never received his shot. He was just in NUMEROUS #1 contenders matches. Dames
Guest Sykotic2002 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 I wasn't to sure about Mamaluke getting a title shot. Thinking about it, damn how many number 1 contender matches has he been in? Seems like all the time.

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted December 3, 2002 I'm betting the match with happen, TNA just likes to forget about planned matches for a week or two before finally pulling them off.
