I, for one, am really looking forward to Jets/Raiders. This could be a really good game. For some reason people always hate the Jets, even though they always end up competitive.

Even if both teams are horrible, it can't be worse than that Eagles/Rams game from yesterday.

That game hurt me as I watched it.

Chris, you don't even LIKE football.

I like football. I played Center in High School, damnit.

I just have problems catching it at times due to work, needing sleep, or other things.

So stop making an ass of yourself by saying things you don't know are true.

I predict the match ends with HBK trying to hit HHH, but misses and nails RVD causing HHH to get the win.

RVD will be back to the midcard next week teaming with Kane to face Flair/Batista at the PPV.

Good thing about Eagles/Rams...

E-A-G-L-E-S! EAGLES! WHOOOOOOOO!

Sorry, being as near to Philly as I am, I get hyper about things like that at times.

PREACH ON BROTHER!

Anyway, I was listening to the game on WYSP, and Mike Quick (Who all football fans should recognize as one of the best recievers of his generation) was commenting on how this weather was horrible for football because of how slick the ball can get, that's why there were all those dropped balls. Now, it sounds like bullshit, but if ANYONE should know, it's Mike Quick, who played here in Philly for God knows how long.

Philly will go nowhere unless they get Donovan back...if they face Green Bay...good-bye. I'm a niners fan, too...

Right now, Philly is #1 in the conference. And the Eagles didn't need Donovon to dispatch the Niners.

The Niners just weren't having a good day that game.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

That would be true if they lost by a touchdown... the Niners got CRUSHED. By a back-up, no less. Sad, and pathetic.

Getting crushed doesn't mean your team didn't have a bad day.

The Saints had a bad day last week, as did the Packers..

This isn't a football thread.

This is a bash HHH THREAD!!!!

"Watched a little of Raw Brand Wrestling last week. The ass creme was kind of funny, I guess. I didn't last 'til the end, but when I read the recaps (tip of the hat to Mallory and James), it came as no surprise that HHHagggghhhhhummmmahhhherrrrr ruined the main event. I *never* saw what the big deal about this guy was. Yes, he was a pretty good heel, but book me into a storyline where I essentially take over the company, win the world title, marry the boss's daughter (thereby sending him into a prolonged storyline sulk that keeps him off TV for a few months), retire a legend, feud with one of the most popular faces of the past ten years (if not all time) - all with the help of my old friends, each of whom were pretty darn over themselves (I seriously get a surreal feeling when I remember there was a time when BG James used to get huge pops) - and I'd be a pretty good heel too. And remember, Hunter really hasn't had good feuds outside of Austin, Foley, and the Rock - three of the best known, most charismatic workers of all time. If he really wants me to sway him into believing he's a great heel, he'll work a program with somebody like a Shelton Benjamin (I'd say RVD or Booker, but god knows he's buried those two so deep they'll never get over as mainstream stars) and do everything in his (considerable) power to make it a COMPELLING feud that GETS THE FACE OVER. Until then, he's just a backstage politician with no mic skills who was fortunate enough to work with people who made him look like a million bucks a few years back and is just coasting on his past glories."

I see this thread is as focused on wrestling as Raw is going to be :)

True, but the Eagles are in a push over division.

That didn't stop the Cowboys from winning 3 Super Bowls in the 90's.

This is a bash HHH THREAD!!!!

This show two things...

Football is more entertaining than WWE entertainment.

And, discussion of football > HHH-bashing.

It's tiresome.

Ah, Bps is mad because he's gonna have to see his buddy Bledsoe get spanked again this week.

If you're a good team, then yes, you will push over your division and a couple of other teams along the way.

With that said, the Eagles will do exactly what they did last year in the playoffs.... choke.

I no longer have hope for Raw Victim #??? vs. HHH. If only Rob could win....

Your wish is granted, bps.

I agree, take it to the Sports folder. This is a RAW thread for discussing WWE RAW. It's very annoying to those of us who still watch RAW when so many people take it off-topic.

Homework or Raw.

Take a guess. Homework sucks more than Raw.

There's such a thing as being OVERLY negative, guys.

Most of the bad stuff has comedic value, and Jericho vs. Booker is worth tuning in for, at least to me.

Random thought....if Mania 18 did get a 1.5 buyrate....

What will Armageddon get? Holy shit.

With HHH as the highlight, there is no such thing.

Plus, the last time Booker/Jericho hooked up it wasn't reason alone to watch Raw... well, not for me.
