Guest Powerplay Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes Interesting.... this should be quite close, though I think Zenon may have the edge. WINNER: Alex Zenon NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Sigil looks to be a force, and I think that he can beat Annie here. WINNER: Sigil SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke I only know Stryke, and he is one fast bastard when it comes to trivia. Stryke to stop his jobbing and pick up a win here. WINNER: Stryke SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami Really, I'm probalby gonna get fucked up. I don't think I'm gonna win, but I'll try damn hard. WINNER: Whoever. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis Both are great, but I'll take Mak for an upset. WINNER: Mak Francis TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH[ Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico Awesome ME. Should be good, and I hope for a stong showing from both teams. That said, Frost and Flesher to keep it. WINNER: Frost and Tom Flesher
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes - The Z-Man (face it, I won't call you by anything else until threatened physically with a wooden board with a nail in it) picked up the victory and a title shot, but Tod's work wasn't shabby either. Tod could easily pick up the 'W' here if he's up to the task. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Wait, who has a title now? I'm confused...Anywho, Annie comes out of the PPV title-less after Danny over-puro'd (BAD PUN~! Woo!) her and Sigil lost as well but decided to fuck a few people over afterwards to show how great his sportsmanship is. Well, push come to shove, I'll pick Sigil to continue the violence. SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke -Uhh, Stryke, because I wasn't here when Bayawolf was around and have no clue who in the world he is. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -It's the JUDGE! And it's SILENT! Capital letter spelling of NAMES! Hmm...tough choice, but I think I'll go with Mr. Mental to solidify his new found bumpage. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis -Really want to go with Mak to AVENGE MY DEATH~!, but I'm not dead and I think some Hikari love is in store for the Franchise on Storm. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico Really would hate to see Flesher lose his belts back-to-back, so I think the Frostbitten Flesh will retain. Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes -> I say Tod gets revenge from his PPV loss, picking up the win here. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil -> Sigil to just top Annie. SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke -> Lets do the math. When i was last in the SWF i was writing probably at my worst level ever, i was seriously bad. Add in a few months of rust and the fact that i'm very very lazy, and Cutthroat could probably beat me, let alone Bayawolf. Bayawolf to win easily. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -> Judge is writing very well, and i think he can top Kibagami for his first win in the WF. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis -> I'll go with Mak to get back on track with a win over the ICTV champ. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH[ Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico -> This should be one hell of a main event. It could go either way and will no doubt be very close, but i think Team Carnie can pull this one out to be the new Tag Champs.
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2002 Oh, can i predict a WF show? I'll do it anyways... NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes Well after the match Zed wrote for Ashes to Ashes, i would not want to face him myself. However, when i saw Tod's match i thought his was equally as good. This could go either way, depending on who gets the one up this time. In my predictions i'm going to go with... Tod deKindes NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Ok umm lets talk Sigil, character wise. The mystery man who comes into the WF wrecking total havoc on everyone has lost both matches he has been in. In order for Sigil to keep his momentum as a monsterous force to be reckoned with he has GOT to win this match. Otherwise Sigil's going to look like a joke, which the character is not intended to look like at all. The only reason i could see him losing a match is if it's because he goes ape shit on someone and gets DQ'ed. Pins on Sigil just can not happen. -Sigil SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke Wow, Stryke. I remember this guy when he first joined the JL, and he looked awesome then. I could only imagine how he is now. However one has a bit more ring rust than the other. If he shows... Bayawolf SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami Judge Mental the newest inductee into the WF needs to prove himself in this lake! However Silent's good if he shows up with a finished match... On that note. Judge NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis Orochi TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico Well lesse.. I don't really know. It could so go either way so i'll stick with a retain here. Frost and Murray
Guest kelloggs Report post Posted December 4, 2002 These picks are Franchisable as always NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes This is a revenge match from the PPV so we got TENSION but I don't know how to call this match just yet. I'll go Z but I get the feeling that this match could get interesting. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Sigil on that tripy Merc promo alone... SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke I mark for Stryke but if Bayawolf writes he'll get the duke. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami If Judge can adjust from the JL ME word counts to the smaller word limit this match and still put as much solid detail as he does in, he can win. I'll go Judge since he started his match already but if Nathan writes and brings the Yakuza kick~!(Of pain that Tom loves to dodge) then he'll probably win. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis With Orochi feeling his new gimmick I could be in for some serious hurtin', but I'm feeling better about my writing so I'll try my hardest. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH[ Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico Interesting... I don't know who to pick but I expect something crazy to happen in this ME, call it a hunch. Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes -Z is en fuego and I look for him to put on a very healthy run within the next month. He's inspired and writing better than he ever has. However, Tod is majorly underrated, but I don't think this character change has really been that successful for him thus far. I think it will be close and hope this leads to what would be an excellent Tod vs. Z feud. WINNER: ZENON NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil -Here's a novel concept for you Sigil, write for the win. Remember Rosie and Jamal and when they came up? They did massive beat downs on everyone, but proceeded to lose like all of their matches and are now sorry jobbers. Same thing is happening to you. It doesn't matter that you write the winning match, the character has to rack up wins in the storyline. Annie has two painful losses in a row and I think Sigil will wake up and realize what he needs to do. WINNER: SIGIL SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke -If Stryke is picking against himself, how can you pick for him? WINNER: BAYAWOLF SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami -What's with all the name changes? Embrace your gimmicks people, we need more gimmicks not less. Anyway, Judge is a great bumpee who just needs to find a groove here in the WF and embark on a meaningful feud to start going places. Silent will probably no-show to get back into his personal groove and that will let Judge to showcase his wears. WINNER: JUDGE NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis -This should be a solid match with a lot of storylines explored. Orochi is still establishing himself in this new character and as the ICTV champ. A loss here would be devastating to him. Francis is still an up and comer and can survive a loss easily. WINNER: OROCHI TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH[ Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico -This should really be smoking. I think Tom and I have better communication and more chemistry, so that could be a deciding factor. However, CIA and Magnifico are both great writers coming off of huge ppv wins and should be fired up for this. I say it's a razor thin margin for the winner, really. Guest Kibagami Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes Zenon's Ashes to Ashes match was badass. I see no reason for him not to repeat that success here. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Sigil has also written some badass matches, but is suffering from WC Syndrome. Sigil...you are...allowed...to win. And he will, I think. SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke Bayawolf. He was in the Clan, and goddamn it, I'm biased. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami Contrary to popular belief, I have not changed gimmicks in order to no-show more effectively. No prediction, all the same. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis Thochi's still solidifying his character, and as Frost said, Mak won't suffer too much from a loss. The new champ retains. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico ELM and CIA are great writers, but Frost is an eVil hoss, and Flesher's on the King's Road. <Witty combination of Frost and Tom Flesher's names> retain. Guest Thoth Report post Posted December 4, 2002 NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes Time to scope out my competition... and I'm worried. Zenon is badass. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil Is Annie around anymore? I haven't seen here in a while. Eh, I'm sure she's around. Sigil needs to stop jobbing. Sigil is badass. SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME! Stryke is back, but... Bayawolf is mega badass. SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami He has a semi-new name, and he's going up against the new guy. Oofah! Kibagami is badass. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis Well, third time's the charm, I hope. No predicition is badass. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico Dag, yo, did you see Flesher's A2A match? I mean... it's literary brilliance. Yes, ELM is the current champ. However, I feel that Tom's versatility is going to give him the duke. And Frost is just *this close* to breaking into the main event. Champs to retain are badass. Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted December 4, 2002 Thoth, your Orochi picture, while neato, looks kind of like a gay He-Man. That said, I predict Edwin runs in during the main event, steals some pancakes, and runs out.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted December 4, 2002 That said, I predict Edwin runs in during the main event, steals some pancakes, and runs out. Great. Now I need to add that to the finish. NO-DQ SINGLES MATCH Alex Zenon vs. Tod deKindes - Um, Zenon. Not that Tod's bad, but Zenon's back and inspired. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Sigil - This is very, very close, but I think I need to go with Annie. SINGLES MATCH Bayawolf vs. Stryke - CLAN PRIDE~! SORT OF~! SINGLES MATCH Judge Mental vs. Nathaniel Kibagami - Whew. Cerebral up the ass. Kibagami has the experience edge here, though, and while I'm pulling for Judge, I have to assume Kibagami. Prove me wrong. NON-TITLE SINGLES MATCH Orochi vs. Mak Francis - Mak's 2-0 against Thorochith. TORNADO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH[ Frost & Tom Flesher © vs. CIA & El Luchadore Magnifico - No prediction
