Guest Jobber of the Week Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor..._concert_fracas Twice in two months, so Axl is obviously back in form. Oh, no, wait. ...one member of Guns N' Roses was ill, and that the band would not be able to perform. He said he did not know which member was sick. GEE, I WONDER WHO THAT WAS?!?! As for the riot themselves: "They ripped up plants, BAH GAWD!"
Guest godthedog Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 what i want to know is why the fans even bother to riot anymore when axl no-shows. are they surprised or something? did they not think it was going to happen this time? if i went to a GNR show, by this point i'd EXPECT it to be cancelled.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Now, let's not be so quick to judge. It's entirely possible that Buckethead stayed up very late the night before thinking about songs he can write about robots, and got up the next day with a very bad head cold.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 They went ahead and cancelled some other shows too. This time ahead of time. They came to Toronto when I was there. I'll admit...I felt it was about 50/50.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 I was at a Hard Rock Café (do they still have those? Do I have the name right) years ago and they had a chair on the wall from the GNR riot at Riverport in St. Louis
Guest DrTom Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Did anyone really think this tour would be different from their last excursions onto the road? Axl is still Axl, which means he's a heedless jackass who's completely undeserving of the fame his more talented bandmates helped him achieve.
