Guest nikowwf Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 You know, the booking for the main event of Armageddon would make sense if HHH was a 25 year old newcomer BABYFACE with a great buzz coming in and sometone everyone wanted to see be the next big thing. Think about it.... Not only is he going to win a 2 out of 3 falls... -But he's going to beat Shawn is his specialty, a ladder match. -His match is going to be twice as long easily as anything on the PPV. -He overcame the evil heel ref to get his title shot. -He overcame an injury in a brutal match last month. -He overcame the terrible owner who didn't immediately give him a title shot even though he deserved it. (they said it, not me) -He has one of the greatest wrestlers of all time in his corner because he thinks HHH is the best wrestler right now. (cough, gag) -He defeated several challengers who were portrayed as week (heels?) going into the PPV. My god, the WWE does not put as much thought into getting any of their babyfaces over as they do of getting a HEEL over. (a heel who is not so popular anymore either) The only saving grace of all this I see is the HHH's quad is going to burst into a hundred little pieces the first time he falls off the freaking ladder. If there is anyone out there who still thinks HHH is not killing Raw, please explain to me how you think that cause I have no idea.... niko
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Well, HHH is so deluded that he thinks that he should be booked this way so people can cheer him. Course, he keeps getting booked this way, and the amount of people in the arena that could be potential cheerers of HHH will dwindle.
Guest nikowwf Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 BTW, where is your goddess? We were wondering during Raw where Molly was? niko
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 BTW, where is your goddess? We were wondering during Raw where Molly was? niko ;_; I don't know...it hurts me not to see her... Maybe she's on Heat... I think she's getting held down because, unlike girls like Trish, Stacy, and Torrie, she wouldn't let Vince McMahon live out a sexual fantasy with her.
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 The only satisfying end to this Kliq Love fest is for HHHeMan to bust his quad while reaching for the belt, fall off the ladder and onto GodBoy's prone back. Then the title would have to be vacated and neither of them would be able to vie for it. Three birds with one stone. Dare to dream...
EL DANDY~! Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 You can only hope for the worst, notJames...
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Wait, I just realized something about the 2 out of 3 falls match. If a third fall isn't required, then how can they string the World Title in the air beforehand? Are they going to take a break after the second fall to get it on the cord, or what?
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 They'll probably be so spent after the cage portion of the match that the ref will have time to hook the belt up. It's a given that it will go to three falls, so I'm sure they've already planned it that way.
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Won't it already be suspended for the whole card?
ChrisMWaters Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I'm hoping the match goes to a third fall...then RVD runs in, steals the belt while HBK and HHH are fighting, and calls himself the REAL World's Champion
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Won't it already be suspended for the whole card? Probably not. They want to create the illusion that it could end in two falls. Yeah, like either HBK or HHH want the match to end with one of them getting pinned. No one's that naive...
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 It's beautiful the way that they've set it up so that a title change can take place without a deciding pinfall.
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 So we're anticipating rampant run-ins to extend this feud yet... another... month...? Who's gonna run in? I anticipate more run ins than we had for the Tag tables match last night
Guest SP-1 Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Personally, I'd like to see Triple H cheat on a second straight fall, Morley come out and order the match to continue, and Shawn win it. It's somewhat of a swerve, it's utilizing Morley, it's dramatic, and it keeps the belt away from Trips, hopefully allowing HBK to go on to pass the rub to someone who is more deserving of a title run.
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Who's gonna run in? I anticipate more run ins than we had for the Tag tables match last night It's probably just going to be Flair and maybe Steiner (if they're going to put him on RAW). He's essentially the only one left with a career that HHH hasn't destroyed.
