Guest Slapnuts00 Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Jeff Jarrett vs Curt Hennig (For NWA World Heavyweight Title) Jerry Lynn vs Sonny Siaki (For X Title) Disciples of the New Church vs Harris Brothers (For NWA World Tag Titles) Amazing Red vs AJ Styles Harris & Storm vs Divine Storm (With Trinity) Jorge Estrada vs Kid Kash Plus BG James, Ron "The Truth" Killings, Tony Mamaluke, and more. You never know who might show up at the TNA Asylum. Last week it was Roddy Piper. Who might it be this week? I wonder if that last part is just hypothetical or if they really have someone else planning to make a suprise appearence? Red vs. AJ is the only match that looks good. Estrada vs. Kash could be alright if they can keep the blown spots down. Even though I hated last week's show, there's no Wizards game on tommorow so I'll grudgingly order and give it another chance this week.
Guest ShooterJay Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I dunno, AMW vs. Divine Storm could also be good, and Jarrett might be able to drag something out of Hennig. AJ vs. Red though is worth the price of admission by itself.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 OKLAHOMA!, OKLAHOMA!!!!!!!
Guest ShooterJay Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Oh yeah, Lynn/Siaki was also good the first time around. Never doubt the carrying powers of Jerry Lynn.
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Jeff Jarrett vs Curt Hennig (For NWA World Heavyweight Title) I'm guessing that either both men will unite to fight off Russo's gang before their match starts, or that Hennig will join up with Russo's SEX stable and kick Jarrett's ass. Jerry Lynn vs Sonny Siaki (For X Title) It will be interesting to see what kind of match Lynn will be able to drag out of Siaki. Disciples of the New Church vs Harris Brothers (For NWA World Tag Titles) Ugh. I really hope the Harris Bros don't go over here just to give the SEX stable some gold. That would be robbery. Amazing Red vs AJ Styles This will be awesome. If it is anything like their last match it won't disappoint. Harris & Storm vs Divine Storm (With Trinity) This will be good too. Harris and Storm are both great workers and Divine Storm is starting to impress me now. Plus Trinity is HOT! Jorge Estrada vs Kid Kash Should be another great X Division match. Kid Kash has looked great recently and Estrada is usually decent in the ring. My only complaint is no SAT's this week.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Too many guys named Storm in that one match. =b Also, why does Chris Harris sometimes remind me (in appearance, not in workrate) of a young Bret Hart? Of course, when RVD first appeared in WWE, I made a comment that Shawn Michaels found a time machine and went back to 1995, so who knows if I know what the fuck I'm talking about. =b World Title and Tag Title match will blow, I predict. The rest will be alright.
Guest midnight_burn Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 AJ vs Red shoud be great, and AMW vs Devine Storm could turn out to be quite a good tag match. The rest is kind of blah, but hopefully most of the rest will turn out to be alright.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 My preview is up at SmarkTalk and on the main page of smartmarks.
Guest OSIcon Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 It'll be interesting to see if Red wrestles tonight. At the Ring of Honor show on Saturday he was in a Tag Team Scramble match and after working a sequence with with Joel, he hardly wrestled in the match. He limped around ringside a lot and kept going back for his water bottle. It didn't help matters that he limped back into the ring at one point to do a really cool yet dangerous spot. Six of the scramble participatsn were huddled around on the floor on the outside. Red suplexed Deranged from the top rope all the way down to the six guys on the floor. That couldn't have helped his injury. He was literally crying from the pain after that as you could see his eyes all Red and some tears coming out. So he must have been in some pain. Hopefully if he is still hurting he will just sit out tonight and take some time to get better.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 New fricking match for tonight: Tony Mamaluke vs. Jason Cross (according to Bill Behrens). You know what this means: the TNA debut of the only Shooting Star Legdrop that matters.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Lynn should be able to get a good match out of Siaki. After all, he's JERRY LYNN. Styles vs. Red should be primo. And Stanley, I could only hope you're right. You also have the coolest sig ever. Long live the KISS Army.
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Sting tonight. That would be amazing, but I don't see TNA having the funds to bring Sting in. He comes with a real high price tag, and I don't see Sting just coming in to do a shoot or something because he is not about that kind of stuff.
Guest RedJed Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 I'll make a quick prediction and say tonight we see Dusty Rhodes show up. I'm taping the show while I work.........post my thoughts later tonight.
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 I can't wait to see what he'll say about the tits comment that Russo made last week.
Guest El Satanico Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Sting tonight. That would be amazing, but I don't see TNA having the funds to bring Sting in. He comes with a real high price tag, and I don't see Sting just coming in to do a shoot or something because he is not about that kind of stuff. Well IF Sting is friendly with either of the Jarrets he'd probably agree to a one time only deal and for cheap.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Oh boy, we would get to hear Sting "shoot" about how he was held down by Flair and Hogan...
Guest El Satanico Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 No he'd just "attack" Russo since that's what this whole thing is about.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 New fricking match for tonight: Tony Mamaluke vs. Jason Cross (according to Bill Behrens). You know what this means: the TNA debut of the only Shooting Star Legdrop that matters. Unless Cross retires before the show starts.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 I'm sure Sting has no problem with the Jarrett's...as not many people do... but I he doesn't like Russo.
Guest Tony149 Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Sting has a problem with Russo's booking style. But he's cool with the Jarretts. At least Jeff. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point Sting works for TNA.
